Awesome videos, I was wondering how you determine how deep to troll at? Are you going off water temp or just where your marking fish on your electronics. Also at what speed are you trolling? I have fished cayuga quit a bit jigging for lakers but want to start trolling with downriggers. Thanks!
@@BeerMoneyRanch Thank-you! So the short answer is, it depends. For instance if I am trolling walleye I want my presentation as close to bottom without getting caught up as possible , I like that 3-5 foot range. Trout and suspended walleye, I am going off where I mark fish and I stay above the marks 5-7 feet. Speed will depend on what you are running. But a good place to start is 1.7 -1.9mph. Try to pair your presentations so you have something that will work on all your lines for the speed range you will troll. I hope this helps and Thanks again for supporting my channel!
