I bought a Bear Super Mag 48 a couple years ago and I absolutely love it I have a 28.5 inch draw and it shoots about 44.25 lbs at my draw I don’t notice any stacking it draws really smooth out to my length
yes I think you are right I just measured my draw length and Im at 37in I was wrong thats why It was stacking and I thought it was the bow thanks 👍for the help
@@HyperManArchery that is an extremely long draw length I bet it’s hard to find arrows long enough for you to shoot I don’t think I’ve ever seen any over 32 to 33 inches
Is that the black phonic, for some reason all those seem to cracked even down through the riser? I really enjoy my 48. I don’t seem to have that much trouble with mine. I think it shoots pretty darn well. But I Don’t really seem to notice the stack all that much but I really have not shot it a ton either. I would have to agree with Anthony, send it off to Mr. Joe Daniels and let him do a comparison on your Super 48 to the Super 48 he built 👍🏼………
It really wouldn't be a fair comparison because of the different weights ... Mine are 30 & 40lbs and don't stack. I think because of the angle my limbs are set at.
Very entertaining video, I have a similar opinion to yours. I am not a fan of Bear bows in general. I've never shot a Super Mag, but my old Grizzly stacked pretty bad at my 30" DL.
I had a bow brake once I was pulling it back and it broke I punched my self in the nose I cut my lip there was blood on my archery glove it looked like me x wife just beat my ass
Had two Supermags..started with em. Shot them for a year straight in fact 6 days a week..if you put in the effort they shoot fine..I have a 30" draw and you get used to what you want to. I moved on and sold both. I really like the 54" Shrew that I have now and don't forsee needing anything else. I don't think I can have more than one bow and be proficient. I like shorter bows for the kind of hunting I do.
yes I can only take just Little bit of stacking it makes me feel like im getting robbed of energy form a non working limb thats why 90% of bows I shoot are longbow bows

The medallion is 14 carat plastic. I have a 65 lbs Super Mag. It is slow because of the brace height but, they are great out of ground blind or tree stand.
@@UncleDanBand64 I have smaall bows that stack and 60s that stack like the black hunter but to much is unused draw weight it makes me feel like im getting ripped off
@HyperManArchery I shot a 21st Century Venus Reflex Deflex that was custom made for me way back. It stacked like crazy. So it was probably hitting 70ish pounds at 26". It was fast as lightning but, it was hard on the body. Especially the fingers. I shot through Elk like they were whitetail. I can barely shoot her now. Now I only shoot about 45 pounds. Not be cause I am old and weak. It is because I'm old and smart😃
