Time and patient will correct 99% of your bearding problems. Do not trim or shape for eight to nine months. Use beard oil every day. Do not wash your beard every day! Once or twice a week is plenty. Black barbers are superior in this department. I found that they are patient and very deliberate. Black barbers are very detailed. They take pride in everything they do including their hairstyles and beard trims. It's their signature if it don't look good they don't look good and that's why they have so much pride in what they do. You have an outstanding Barber. PS. I simply use premium olive oil in my beard. It helps with frizz it keeps it looking healthy.

I usually just ask for a number 2 on the sides with a high fade, but your cut is the look I want. I just don't know how to ask for it, and carrying a picture of you to my barber -- handsome as you are -- is just something I can't do. I'm envious that you found that shop. What a great cut! I've always kept my beard trimmed short the past several years because it's almost white (salt/pepper). I was afraid of looking like Santa Claus at 42 years old. But after watching this video with your beard, I may re-think growing it out.

Yesterday I went to the barber and he mowed most of my beard. Either he speaks a different language or is incapable of understanding simple words.
