Hey, Guys! Love the positive energy from the GroomReviews community! I’ve received a ton of positive feedback on this video already and many suggestions to cover a broader range of grooming topics on the channel beyond beard trimming, such as everyday style, personal care, etc. I want to serve the best interest of the community, so: Let me know what you guys think? What topics would you want me to cover? All the best! Paul
Hey man great videos! I bought the Phillips Norelco series 5500 beard grooming tool a couple months ago thanks to watching your review of it a few months back. I love it! Best $50 I ever spent! Only thing I am still trying to get use to is using it around my nostrils but I get better each time I use it. 👍

my friend i think you have the potetial and you should cover a broader topic on your channel such as how to dress well, style hacks and other grooming tips. the distance between you and the camera is kind of close.
Hi, arize king. Thank you for the suggestions! I greatly appreciate the support and will keep in mind for the future. Thanks so much for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! All the best!
Awesome review bro. Maybe you can help me with that question. I'm looking for a beard trimmer that is strong enough to trim my thick beard. With my trimmer, I very often have to shave over one spot until there is a difference. Only need it for trimming my beard to 1-3mm. Doesn't matter if it is a little bit more pricey
Hi, Silverstar66666. Thank you so much for the positive feedback. The best all-in-one trimmer that I have reviewed to-date is the Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 (amzn.to/2wMcG8f). This is a great trimmer for face, head and body, especially during this time of quarantine. This trimmer features tempered dual cut steel blades that are strong enough to trim through thick hair. I just posted a video on DIY Home Haircut using the Multigroom 7000, which you can see here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-V8g2hpXniFM.html. Additionally, check out my full video review of the Multigroom 7000 with beard trim seen here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eFn0Si1Bmyc.html. If you are looking for a trimmer that has smaller incremental settings and is a great stubble trimmer, the Philips Norelco Series 5100 is one trimmer to look at. You can find my full review here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5VGv_VHF708.html. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! Stay safe. Great video. Huge fan of your channel! Also appreciate the suit tips. I have a question. In many of your videos, you trim your beard with the grain. But in this video you go against the grain. Are the pros and cons to each of those trimming methods? I've tried both with my Phillips Multigroom 3000, but I'm not sure I can tell much of a difference either way. Thanks!
Hi Whit McGhee. Thank you so much! I greatly appreciate the positive feedback and your support of the channel! As every beard is unique, trimming with the grain will work well for some, while trimming against the grain will work better for others. There is no one correct way to do it. It's definitely personal preference and sometimes the shape of the trimmer guard will dictate the direction that works best. That said, for myself, I find when trimming a longer length beard, trimming with the grain allows me to better control how much hair I am cutting, while always maintaining a perspective of how my beard will look out in public. Cutting against the grain while trying to maintain a longer beard, you can lose some level of control, either cutting more hair than intended or creating a look that wasn't what you expected. When going against the grain, I find I am pulling my beard up and away from my skin in a manner inconsistent with how I wear my beard every day. I cannot see how my beard looks until I finish cutting against the grain, then brush my beard back down into place. My preferred method so that one doesn't cut more than intended and can feel most comfortable trimming is to first flatten the beard to an everyday look using a comb so you can see what hairs stick out. Then pass with the beard comb attachment, starting at a high setting, changing from shorter to shorter levels until you achieve that preferred length and look. For a very short beard or stubble look, such as the trim in this video, I will go against the grain as the hair length is so small that it won't make a difference if lifting the hairs. Additionally, the shape of the Philips Norelco Series 5100, in my case, works best against the grain. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching and being a member of the GroomReviews community! Hello! Thank you for providing very useful information. True content. Subscribed. Also, I found it great, that you posting all necessary data (include transcription) below the video for the people who preferring symbolic communication. This is really rare attitude today and i am truly admire that. Can i have some advice? Phillips Series 7000 MG7750 (trimmer) is still the best universal solution or there is something more preferable today on the market? Personally, I need it most for shaving a facial hair.
Hi, Lovely Schizoid. You are most welcome! Thank you so much for the words of support! I am happy to hear you enjoyed the video and welcome you to the GroomReviews community! The Philips Norelco Multigroom 7000 (amzn.to/2HMBkaq) is still my recommended trimmer for the beard. However, if looking primarily to keep a stubble finish look, I prefer a device with tighter increment settings and lower trim lengths, such as the one seen in this video, the Philips Norelco Series 5100 (amzn.to/2VcfchP). If looking for a dedicated foil shaver for that clean, smooth finish, the Panasonic Arc 5 (amzn.to/2FFOvJU) is my top choice. You can find my video reviews for each at GroomReviews.com. Hi, Jay. Thank you so much for your support of the channel. I am happy to hear you enjoyed the video! I pulled out the Philips Norelco Series 5100 as I was looking for a short beard trim, close to a stubble finish. As the Series 5100 has many more shorter cut lengths in small increment settings that are built into the device, it gives me the versatility to choose a tighter increment setting at any moment, if need be.
