Nice video! I'm 36 and just started letting my facial hair go for the first time ever. Partly because I decided to drop my "professional appearance" at work after a demotion, but now I'm genuinely interested in seeing how it can look on me. This gave me a few good tips! Wasn't sure why my still short beard was so itchy, but now I now. Getting some beard oil, glad I watched this!

Eric this is your best look ever.....groomed, tapered very flattering. You appear younger and slimmer with a more contemporary look. My 18 year old son turned me on to your beard oils etc. they really made a difference.

Great vid eric keep it up... i had some hate for my beard previously because i kept it short and my sides were patchy but after i started using bearbrand beard oil it started to fill the sides pretty good so now i have your style of beard 😊👍

We all change our tastes from time to time, that's ok! Finding out who we are is an ongoing process...an everlasting process. That's why changing is so important. My older uncle's been sporting the same hairstyle and shaved or scruffy beard ever since he was 18, and he is 53 now. I don't know, that's kind of bad. I think it's cool that you're always "messing around" and trying out different cool styles, that just highlights you're always visualising new perspectives about yourself. I've been trying to work a beard for awhile and have actually gotten fairly good results that I'm happy with. Though I enjoy having a full beard but like keeping the mustache shaven or off, is that natural or are there variations to that that I can look up somewhere?

So what do you recommend for someone that has about the same length beard as you but the hair is corse and many hairs stand out or fly aways. Will using products and brushing over time train the hair? Or am I just stuck with that since my beard hair is just that way?

Right now I'm coming out of movember and I'm going for a handle bar, this is the third time this year I try this, but you know what they say, third time's the charm. Great tips and totally agree with the short beard segment at the end of the video.. I just cut 4 inches off and going with a hybrid look. Sort of between the beardstache and Jeff's Athletic beard style.

Man tell me about it. When we setup production for this current batch, we expected (conservatively) that our inventory levels would have lasted us through Mid-March. Needless to say, growth has been faster than expected. We'll have a bunch of stuff restocked in March and even have a new product offering.

I have really sensitive skin, I've tried many "cheaper" and "premium" beard oil and I can say that Beardbrand's beard oil is worth every penny, great for the skin too!

Sorry, I'm not Eric but I can offer some advice. We typically recommend beard oil over coconut oil because coconut oil doesn't provide all the same benefits that beard oil gives to hair and skin, plus coconut oil can smell really bad by the end of the day. - Jack

Personally, for my skin, I find coconut oil to be drying and it's not a preferred product for applying directly to skin. I wouldn't use it and if you were going to use just an oil by it's self, I'd use jojoba oil. With that being said, I really think a Beardbrand beard oil is the best way to go ;) as it offers much more than a base oil by it's self.

Now I have a 10 months beard. When I reach my goal (1 year) I think i'm gonna rock a short beard (like you, but without your epic mustache, because I don't have that kinda of growth). My only doubt is... Should I shave completly off with a safety razor (I prefer this option, in order to refresh the skin, and make the hair thicker), or should I trim down (my with some blending as you said)?

Hey Eric (or whoever can answer). Been growing my beard, Burt for some reason, some of the hairs, just dont grow. They look like stuck to my skin, The rest are growing fine but got some in The middle that just wont grow. You can see The small little hair there but ti stays that way. Been almost a month and they stay the same. Does anybody know slmething about that?

I have a problem with my shirts beard cuz I'm trying to get it growing down and forward but the hairs under my chin (neck area) are longer than the hairs on the tip of my chin so it looks like it just grows inwards and down my chin. It's quite curly and I would say about 3/4" to an inch off of my face on the neck area (longest part) and idk how to make the front grow more. Also I have a non existent mustache like only a stubble and it hasn't grown yet since 15, I'm 20 now.

So the biggest thing for me, I want a full scruff look, I personally don't like emphasized mustaches. Problem is, the spots at the corners of my mouth, the part that normally connects the mustache to the beard, is somewhere between really light hair and bald. So I started growing it out so that the mustache hair can connect to my beard, and it's working. But is there a way to connect my mustache to my beard while keeping it all at scruff length?

I'm looking to grow a longer beard. I currently have it similar shape to in the video. Should I stop trimming/shaving the neck line and just let it grow to see if it catches up with rest of beard or would I need to start over again from a clean shave?
