This was so helpful having you read through the article and break it down for us & having your knowledgeable insight and thoughts on it. You shared some very valid points about Jay. I feel if Jay's character was authentic he would address these claims to the public, this would show he cares for his people, but I see no care or acknowledgment from him yet. There is alot of things that need to be clarified, with all the loopholes and in consistencies in his life story!
Thank you for your comment and appreciating the detail in which we discuss this very nuanced tale somewhat of Jay Shetty. It has been sad to see that he hasn't responded to this article and the fact that it is just his legal team dealing with it, it shows his lack of interaction with his audience IMHO. In the end, if he chooses to ignore, it will make me lose even more respect and question his authenticity. The fact is monk now or before, spiritual person now or before, honesty is the number one policy.
@@TheBeardedMysticPodcastThank you for your response. I totally agree 💯 per cent. Because he built his reputation through the public it should only be natural to respect his people on this platform with a response! This act of suppressing these claims and not validating this controversy about him is amplifying his inauthentic character. This is showing he is not taking responsibility or accountability to the people that once looked up to him. How would he feel if we all suppressed him? And stopped listening to his podcasts? Ignore all his posts!? Would he talk then!? Social media is a two way street not a one way. Not responding has made me totally disrespect him now and how can he be any role model to our society with this kind of behaviour of suppression and sweeping it under the carpet. This is not okay to run away from your responsibilities when he is supposed to represent himself as a monk or a self healer on a public forum. His so-called values and morals do not align to his actions.
Loved the reactions! I agree with you completely Rahul ji! I remember when I first started watching some of his content I liked how he had incorporated the BG in his videos, however, as his frame increased I started to question his authenticity as well and subsequently unfollowed him. I'm glad I made that decision! I also think dandapani is following a similar path. I think now followers need to have a check list of requirements that allow them to feel confident in their decision if they wish to get involved with these internet 'monks'. Great video Rahul ji! Sending love and peace 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you! Yeah - he seemed well-intentioned in the beginning and I am glad it wasn't me who just doubted him. The thing is I felt like he had nothing new to offer but good soundbites but good soundbites never last in the mind as knowledge or wisdom. Yeah we both made the right decision by unfollowing him. Interesting about Dandapani - I have looked at his recent videos and saw that he was interviewed by the crypto grifter London Real. A bit of research, such a pandit shouldn't go on that show. I agree with you that followers need a guide on navigating youtube 'monks' lol! This may be a good video idea for me! Thank you for liking it and please do share this! Sending you all my love, peace and blessings!
Therapy is useful for mental health issues. One must do both spiritual practice with mental health therapy. I do feel it is more beneficial. Many go on a spiritual path without dealing with the psychological issues. In the beginning, they feel they have dealt with it and then slowly it reappears stronger than ever. Hence, it is more beneficial to go through therapy. Certainly, Jay Shetty is not the therapist you should go to.
Yeah I don’t think it’s bad that he is capitalizing on his fame but it shouldn’t cause harm. Which frankly it is at this point. People spending their hard earned money or their savings to think they will be successful like him.
