Nice interview guys. DJ makes a good interview simply because he tells you pretty much exactly what he’s thinking lol. That first TD he was so wide open that ball should have been to him in stride but instead he had to speed towards the sidelines to get it and then do a tightrope to stay in bounds. Same with medium range pass to Cole he had to dart to his right rather than catch it in stride and be in a more optimal position to go down field. I know they said the wind was an issue. But even with a lack of perfect accuracy those were still nice reads by Caleb. No doubt he’s gonna be good but the question on greatness remains. That doesn’t mean a true fan won’t ride with him though since he loves the game. So I’m riding with him period and grateful he’s in Chicago.
That's cause the wind was a huge factor during the game. Caleb had to throw it through the conditions. Part of the reason Andy struggled to throw down field
Ok love the win. But……. They were a very weak opponent this week. No pass rush to speak of and Caleb “should have” looked good against this opponent. Now is the time for the coaches to double down on getting better and instill an attitude of fight harder in practice and prepare for war. But they won’t!!!! it will be the same thing we have seen over and over again. They will look as though they weren’t ready for this next game. They looked good against a weak team and now they think they can play against anybody. All the two games that we failed to win is big is due to this or that and we were just one score away. If the coaches don’t grab the horse by the reins and make it happen, the players will just simply not be prepared and have the same fight that they need. Our old line is still an Achilles heel, we need to be prepared for good defenses that can mount a pass rush. Caleb is still young and is easily fooled. Don’t fool yourself. The kids gonna be good but he’s not there yet. Plan accordingly!
The moment you said But...the rest of your comment turned into Charlie Brown grown ups dialog, because if they lost all you would have done is talk negative about the team,if you have that much of a problem with the team go root for another...🐻⬇️
With actual pockets and running game, the bears have 2 w’s in a row. Waldron called an excellent game after 3 disasters. Not sure why you think they’ll regress, sure they’ll get beat by better teams, our left tackle can’t do anything against elite rushers, but the D will keep the bears in most games. You’re right, their 2 losses are by less than one score. A regular Nostradamus you are!
The fact is the Bears did to this team what should have been done…had it been a close game and lots of struggles, it would have felt more like a normal Bears game.
