The thing about Bagnet is not only the dude knows football but comprehends doing ALL of his reads, at least sometimes. If you don't know much about football when a qb does all his reads it makes it more difficult as a defensive player to anticipate what you are about to do. He sells a lot of plays which is either plenty of study, or knowing football. Bears plays look like they try to sell you on some of these looks. Its impressive to see executed well. However needs to continue his vision on checking routes. He looks on the dominate side of the field where most of his wideouts are. I will add, selling looks means you are vulnerable and susceptible to very bleak outcomes. If Fields did any of the study this kid did, Bagent wouldn't even be playing imo. Regardless of injury.
Clearly a much better leader. He's got the Bears looking dialed in, whereas everyone just looks lost when Fields is out there. QB-1 is here now and it aint close... Trade Justin Fields for a 2nd AND 3rd Round Pick to Tennessee, Arizona, Tampa or Atlanta: 1 of those teams will bite
It’s strange how much better the team is playing with 17 at the controls as opposed to 1. If there’s a drop off when Fields returns, Poles’ll have to make a move.
@@mcchungee7197 Yep, exactly the same opinion bud. Fields aint gonna be the Bears Franchise QB, that ship has sailed.. Why would I be impressed?? He's come back to look like a guy who's job is beingnheld together by the D## *only alllowing 14.8 Pts the last 5 games* And D.J. Moore is basically his Lord and Savior haha keeping Fields from the bench The QB-1 has to do more than ever in modern NFL 1.5 TD's a game is expected of Backups.. And it seems like he's got the same leadership style as Jay Cutler. He's got 5 TD passes in last 6 games man... 3/5 were to D.J. Moore. I guess he gets a golf clap for adding 3 rush TDs since returning; but he's got 3 Picks (2 lost fumbles as well) I wanted to see him succeed, give the Bears fans an exciting young QB that gives Chicago a little hope.. I said Bagent is the better Leader. Just because Tyson struggled a little in his 1ST FOUR STARTS?? .. straight out of Shepard Unniversity (a dirt field in West Virginia) HAHA A school thats been around for 80 years and THIS 23 year old kid is the ONLY QB to ever successfully MAKE IT FROM SHEPARD TO THE PROS- then make the leap from late RD Pick to Winning an NFL game [2-2] one or two breaks away from winning at the Saints [nearly 3-1] Fields is 5-7 and he doesnt seemed too upset about that Bagent actually plays with passion. The Offense wasnt sleepwalking like they do with Fields: A talented athlete who was 11th OVERALL should be having fun, putting up more than 1 TD/game??? Since he's been Drafted, the kid consistently plays football like he's doing yard work. Fields plays the most valuable position in football and looks MISERABLE... sooooo many people would KILL to be in his shoes. Bagent may not be the answer, but this is 3 years with zero improvement from their young QB. This is one of the best Cities in the Country... You gotta at least give the fans some hope. Hell, Im a Buffalo fan. Even I'm frustrated for Chicago -Unreal
AGREED!!! This "ROOKIE" had a much greater Command of the Offense that Justin Fields Ever had... Fields didn't know if he "Was walking or on horseback" a TOTAL F*CKING BUST!!! Good Riddance to Justin Fields and the Bears got for him EXACTLY what he was worth... a 6th round draft choice... He'll be a good bench warmer in Pittsburgh...
Anybody who was being Objective would have left Bagent in as the Starter for the rest of the season... I guess the Management had to convince themselves to get rid of Fields by watching his inept play... It may be the best move made by Poles so far... Dumping the Sh*tty player Justin Fields... How many more strip sacks, pick 6's and late game implosions did they think Bears fans were going to tolerate? And to think Fields agent was going to Demand around $50 Million a year for his new contract... I just Hope Caleb Williams will work out...
