True, i saw them yesterday and there was a lot of people that wanted to see them and the crowd was really exited and into the show, I think they should definately be on mainstage.
Saw me and my nephew in the pits... didnt get to see the full set, we only got to see them play this song but it was still a great fucking way to start the day!
what the fuck, dont talk about shit you dont understand, the vocal technique he uses is called fry screaming which takes close to no air, like your literally pressing your vocal chords together and squeezing air out. it takes less air than talking
+This Isn't Evan lol, I sing these songs dude and I know the strain they have.... It uses a lot of air, and that's why he is not singing live like in the album...
your probably using false chord because i also sing these and your completely wrong, caleb uses fry screams which is also what i use and it DOES NOT take alot of air at all while false chord screams do but he dosent use those
+This Isn't Evan I must be using false screams yeah, but the question still remains, why doesn't he sing the songs like in the album, and he seems out of breath all the time?
Dime Lauderdale idk which song it was exactly but i was in one and i ate mad shit cause someone decided to trip me and my knee is so badly scraped and my nose is bruised x'D
Caleb's voice reminds me of Early Dave Williams of Drowning Pool...Album wise its different but live I feel they could cover Drowning Pool songs very well, band has awesome talent and Caleb's life voice almost suits Dave's tone and growl.
Amplification does a lot in a live setting, but I agree they do sound better in person. RU-vid cant do them justice. Plus Caleb has gotten better at singing live since the Aggressive tour. He had to see a vocal coach after he shredded his chords
+Jason LovesABR lmfao I just realized this was my dads account , but anyways I saw the amity affliction, Attila, hands like houses, mmf, ptv, some of as it is and some other I forgot who else.
Caleb is actually quite the vocalist. It makes me mad that people say "why can't he just do all the vocals" people its a lot harder then you think to keep switching between singing and screaming. But otherwise kudos to Caleb for an awesome dude!
Tdwp Sethis I agree it is not easy at all, for a while he would talk through the lyrics though instead of screaming it, which is respectable because it is exhausting. It took me by surprise to see how tight of a show they are running.
From all these videos I've seen that warped has uploaded, Everyone seems so bored and standing still in the crowd.. Like maybe it's different in the crowd but it just looks so still. Cause at my date; Toronto. Normally everyone is going nuts and everyone is swaying side to side cause everyone is being pushed everywhere.
+Vladimir McAntelope 1:58 , strumming a bass guitar with a pick. His tone is all treble no bass. He plays his bass like it's a regular six string. The sound suffers as a result with string vibrations everywhere. His role should be the solid foundation of the band, instead he is trying to strum the shit out of his 4 strings.
+SomethingDifferent That's the way Caleb played it in the album. There are certain parts in the break downs where he strums both the E and A open strings. He's not trying to be a guitar player, he's playing it the way Caleb wrote and recorded it which gives the break down a dirty, grungy sound, which is obviously intentional and works well. And you can't really judge the tone based on a live video on RU-vid which are pretty much all poorly mixed
What the fuck... vocalist sounds like a drunk karaoke singer live? They really use that much correction in the studio? I mean their songs are awesome and the drummer, guitarists do they work just fine. But vocals might just as well be one of the worst I've heard in terms of rather popular bands.
