Really excited for these! It's nice how they made the deck pretty good without making it feel very oppressive or tier 0. Hopefully this trend continues for future sets and we don't see a repeat of Bermuda in standard :'(

Tbh to make the combo more optimal, you should treat grantz (the g1) as a tidal assault since he states that as Long as another unit attacks and your vg is a beast deity, u can pay the cost to restand. Pumping crits and the power to grantz and letting him Attack 3 more times with trigger power and possibly a crit should be more deadly and also forces the opponent to block it, allowing illuminal to proc Anyway, nice video! Hope you finish your assignments quickly and test this bad boy irl

The deck looks pretty entertaining to play. The only time I played Nova Grappler was at the start of G with Victor, it was different but the re-stands felt great :) I like this aggressive playstyle for Beast Deity, if you guard it'll get back up and attack you again :P

Also, another thing that makes Kick Kick an automatic 4-of is that since you can give itself +5k when it is placed on V, it can hit Force G2s without trouble when you're going 2nd. For the 3-card combo, though, I don't know of any instance ever where somebody would choose Accel 1 over 2 in any Accel deck (maybe I'm exaggerated, but never in NG). With Kick Kick, you always want to give power to something else since it can hit both the VG and any RG, still providing the 1-card-guard pressure. I definitely did not pay attention to Drill the Dual though, lol. Was playing Clay instead xd The build I've enjoyed a lot, although pretty different from the Japanese lists I've seen, is 4 Illuminal, 3 Azure, 3 Max Raizer 4 Kick Kick Typhoon, 4 Stylish Hustler, 3 Brutal Jack, 2 Boomerang Thrower 4 Grantz, 4 Scarlet Bird, 2 Clay 8/4/4 triggers p.s. Please don't play Shout. It's a net negative card on top of being 6k base. I don't know why anybody thinks it's good

Great video! Gotta say in my first fumblings with the new NG I was a bit "Hm" but Illuminal is just REALLY fun to use (and well in general just restanding Brutal Jack and those hordes of attacks, I really like that strategy)

so i just tested this archetype on cf area last week, and i can only say that this deck is SO GOOD imo. Claydoll mechanic is gonna be a 3 of imo. It just lets u get resources back. Beast Deities imo is gonna be the face of novas until new support comes out.

I just wanna say yes he made mistakes but again he was rushed and he wanted to get this out as soon as fast as possible

My combo actually uses Azure as the vanguard instead of Illuminal, and i prefer putting Illuminal on rear-guard I focus more on using Hustler, Jack, or Illuminal and Typhoon to restand the former three, sometimes i'll even put down 2 Typhoons to increase attack count, and i don't think i'm switching to Accel II for Novas since the +10k hurts even more lol

He has 18k if u choose accel 1 but it varys if u need more cards and more def u choose accel 2 but it sacrifices power and makes him 13k

Isnt it better to attack with the vg first, try to check some triggers, put all of them on grantz dragon( or any rg boosted by drill the driller) to increase the pressure ? with a crit, your opponent will have no choice but to guard or die. I never thought about using your pattern before, I was always trying to put trigger on the restanding rg so I dont know if yours is better or not. Sorry if its not really clear, I'm not a native and I sometimes have hards times to express myself.

Its funny how novas in Heroic Evolution were supposed to be centered around heroes but Beast Deity just got better instead.

Why do people run the Hero G2 at high numbers like 3/4? I’m curious. Also, can you lay BD build for EB06 and EB07? There’s a lot of good cards but I’m so confused on what to run and at what values.

For Standard Beast deities in this build is it more useful to run Accel 1 or Accel 2. I’m testing both but still not sure which is better.
