Beast from the East two continues to blanket Braemar in Scotland with heavy snow around the village

Being from "the green hills" of Tyrol, born in Ohio, schooled in Pennsylvania, presently residing in foggy Vienna, Austria, this posting reaches me on the eve of my birthday and fills me with flurries of fond memories. Beast from the East....or just winter as we traditionally called it. These weather fronts are the same ones that have always been but the Thunberg types needed an excuse for the cold spells so they started attributing them to excepetional conditions(that just happen to have been a constant for the last couple of million years)

This was normal weather conditions for the UK 🇬🇧 in the 60s and 70s and 80s, and days of snow coverage and freezing weather, but people who have not had bad weather for the last few years and have no memories of weather here in the UK. We grind to a halt in the UK 🇬🇧 and false weather forecasting, schools close and every one is told to stay in doors and essential journey only and recommend that you have coats and blanket and snacks in your vehicle incase you get stuck in snow, my grandfather always had a shovel and bags of grit in the boot and he always had car rugs and cushions and first aid kits and tourch and the glove compartment full of barley sugar drops and toffees for the winter months and never went out for a distance without a couple of hot flasks of tea. I don't drive, but my sons and daughters car's on the drive, having bags of cat litter and horse shovel in the boot and fleece blanket with boiled sweets and tourch. Having shown them how to shovel the front of the car wheel's free from snow and put cat litter down in front of the wheel's and put the shovel back onto the boot and quickly get into the car to drive slowly to keep going and not stopping, but people don't know how to drive in the bad weather conditions and they are driving to fast and loose control over the vehicle and end up off the road, but sadly people who have learnt to drive and not have enough experience in bad weather conditions and driving different from the fine weather conditions. Driving in snow and ice is a bit like going into the ocean and not knowing how to swim. But people are driving and they don't know how to drive safely for the weather.

Can you film and post some footage of Inverey please. I spent many times there, staying at Bourtree Cottage and also Grampian Regions outdoor centre. I remember the War Memorial and the red Phone box by the bridge. Is it still there ?
