Are you guys phasing Sous out of the vlog? We don't see him nearly as much. I can't remember the last time any work was done on his vehicle. You guys all complement each other so well. In my opinion, he is the biggest personality on the show. If Sous was a cowbell, I would be asking for more cowbell. Love the videos. Keep it up.
Nick L and Doug left their jobs and are doing the blog full time. They've spoken about it a lot lately in their videos. Sous is around whenever he's not working at his store. But because they're making videos more often, the 2 doing it full time would be in more of them. They've spoken briefly about Sous doing the Same thing
@@johnperrault6418 I watch all of their videos. So, I have seen where Doug and Nick L are doing this full time. It also makes sense that because they are producing more videos and Sous isn't able to be there for all of them, that we don't see him as much. I guess, from my perspective, he is just as important to the success of this vlog yet, doesn't reap the same rewards. I could be wrong. I look forward to Sous being able to quit his job and be in the videos full time. I enjoy his insight and his comedic perspective.
@@SXSBlog thanks for clarifying. I know you guys have tons of projects in the works and it's hard to get all of them out quickly. I love the channel and thoroughly enjoy the three of you guys working/playing/goofing off together. Can't wait for the next video. I meant no offense by anything I said. It was just an observation.
Oh the SXSBlog album I can't wait for! Pure dope on the lyrics, I know the writing process in intense. I hope you never get writers block. Oh yea, nice job I guess Doug.........
I love watching your vids “Buds”! Seriously tho, always good content from the garage or out on rides. I hope to be able to ride with you guys one day. We’re on a fee hours south of you. P.S. I’ve never been to Silver Lake yet. Keep doin what you do!
there no reason replacing bearing if there nothing wrong with them . it will be waste of time and money. most motor mechanic would tell you this . remember this motor is only 2 years old
@@funtyes1970 yeah a total waste of 40 dollars🙄 lol you replace the bearing, anytime you open an engine up. they're super cheap unless you're that broke. 2 years of hard abuse is plenty of time I mean look at the scratch in the cylinder he was talking about
400+ HP out of a 900cc motor. Crazy. I work with a guy who drag races cars. He's pushing 600+ with a turbo 350 Chevy. That's over 3735cc! Reliability has to be a issue. Cool stuff but, I think I'm happy with my 172HP. Lol. I'm an old motocross guy. I'm more about suspension and handling than short bursts of extreme speed. I'm more of the RJ Anderson style. 😎 My daughter won't ride with me in my X3 RC turbo R. However, she used to love riding on the back of my GSXR1000R. 110MPH didn't phase her. Kinda says it all I guess. You guys make some good videos. Interesting stuff.
I have rebuild 3 can am maverick x3 engine but I got the intake cam shaft lobe 37.49mm and exhaust 38.55mm while the service limit should be 38.33mm both intake and exhaust
Always new valve springs, crank bearings.. Nice on modded turbo motors titanium valve retainers, and ss valves. with fresh valve grind.. personally I dont order stock pistons until motor is apart and mic bores for wear , ovaling , and piston to wall clearance for best fit.. But I do enjoy your videos..
@@SXSBlog I have faith in you guys to see it thru. SXS Blog is my favorite thing to follow on the internet. Great people, Great information . Future Talon owner mostly due to your on going reviews . Keep up the great work .
So funny your singing is so terrible that it is completely awesome I love it, and by the way good luck with appeasing your wife after putting her off on the video. You guys are awesome.
Sweet video.. deep engine teardown novice here; let's say this engine needed only a new crankshaft, can the crankshaft be replaced without removing the head?
@@Cannibal440 Ya, sort of. However, new rods, etc..... Can you see .001" difference? Why tear an engine down this far and not replace the crank bearings?!? I did that once. Ya, they looked good, save some money, I ended up rebuilding the motor again two weeks later. Blown rod bearing. Cost me more in the long run.
@@JR-qz3zt well I guess you did something wrong rebuilding that motor . never in my life see a bearing give out if there in spec . remember this motor is only 2-3 years old .
Question 🙋🏻♂️ if we don't need to adjust the valves on the X3 engine because they are hydraulic. Why dose my dealership keep trying to push for a valve adjustment on my machine? Lol @ 250$ charge btw I agree with you on the no major need for it with those style.
If your building big power X3 engines our CylinderSupportSystem would be the ideal way to strengthen the cylinders without adverse cooling issues typically seen with thick cast iron sleeves. And it cost way less!! We are looking to get into the utv industry so give us a call if interested.
