Optimus flattening Waspinator was always my favorite Waspinator smashing. Optimus would be the last person you would expect to do that if he didn't know Waspinator simply doesn't die.
"Waspinator has plans..." The Animated Waspinator said a similar thing, while putting himself back together again, in the ending of his episode. But THIS Waspinator getting whomped on the head just made it funnier.
He was supposed to die in Season 2 and Terrasaur live as a transmetal but he had such an internet fan following of people loving seeing him being blown to scrap that he lived!
Joining the Maximals wouldn't have stopped Waspinator getting blown up. He'd have been blown up by the Preds, but maybe less often. Those were some of the best parts, though, watching Waspinator get blown up, especially the scene at 2:42
He mentions it took "a very long time", he pretty much flew back to cybertron after he got catapulted by the early humans. Since the Beast Wars takes place like a long time ago in the past after he got catapulted he started flying towards cybertron so Waspinator after flying for "x million years" finally arrived back on cybertron just as the Maximals came out of transwarp
I do agree Waspinator deserves a break from getting blasted by Predacons and Maximals and he’s still a Predacon so give him a chance to put up more of a fight as the others did.
So by total count Waspinator has been taken out or blasted 59 times and by character is Optimus Primal: 9 Cheetor: 9 Rhinox: 6 Dinobot: 6 Rattrap: 5 Tigertron: 4 Alien/Vok devices: 4 Una: 3 Blackarachnia: 2 Scorponok: 2 (friendly fire missile twice in Equal Measures) Airazor: 1 Tigerhawk: 1 Megatron: 1 Tarantulas: 1 Inferno: 1 Transmetal Raptor: 1 Dinobot II: 1 Inferno and Quickstrike: 1 Blackarachnia and Silverbolt ?: 1 Technically Blackarachnia took out Waspinator 3 times but had help in Agenda part 2 because she was distracted when she flew her air sled pod into Waspinator because she was busy making out with Silverbolt so he did indirectly take out Waspy though through out the show at least on screen never directly taken him out.
i wouldn't say crap its just so different then beast wars with everyone personality changing (especially silverbolt) and less then steller ending. since it was so different that many fans where disappointed. i heard one person online said beast machines went 'emo'. i hate the use of the word and the show started 8 years before people started using the word in that way.
seeing as Waspinator flew back to cybertron on his own and it toke him about 4 million years they should make a series of "the adventures of Waspinator" seeing him make is way back to cybertron (and getting blown to scrap a lot)
True, but in TransFormers Animated, BlackArachnia converts Former Autobot Wasp into Predacon Waspinator, but he'll probably be less of a target to Autobot fire.
It is a natural law that Waspinator must get the short end of the stick in all situations. The universe would implode if he held on to a lucky break for too long!
After about a dozen minutes watching waspinator getting blasted over and over again, I come to this conclusion: waspinator is undestructable, making him the strongest transformer ever. (surpassing Starscream and Rampage)
Oh I don't know. All I know is that Waspy got too raw of a deal on this show, and THEN they took away his happy ending at the series finale when they brought him into Beast Machines. >:P
Waspinator is pretty much the Kenny of Beast Wars. My one problem with BW is that some characters keep dying, while others get killed once and stay dead.
