I have one of these and a wowgo 3x. They both kick butt and both companies have been very cooperative and understanding with after sales services. This board is for sure to use in long range though. You can go on super long rides with the beastboard. And cloudwheels come with pullies.
As always such a good video. Even with a free board (thanks for your honesty) you seemed to be completely unbiased and genuinely honest which is awesome. Bravo sir.
Dude... Great in-depth review. Love how you took motors apart and gave me some new insight however that being said you're putting to large of an umbrella putting this board against the zealot just because they are both sub $1000.... This board I got for 550 with free shipping and the zealot is 800 plus shipping (Canada). How about... for the price nothing touches it. Compare specs to backfire G2. This thing kills it and the wow factor is the wheels. They are awesome!
Great video. Could definitely tell you were unbiased, which seems like it would be hard to do with a free board. You mentioned that this sub $1K board market is saturated...I'd like to see you review more of those types of boards
Great first look at the board. Seems to be good value for the money. It also made me aware how my demands are increasing lol. I paid about 400€ for my first board. Second one was about 1000€ and my next one will probably be a BC2 for about 1500€. Thanks for all your videos keep it up :-)
Nice One Rama - I have always wanted to test out those wheels, asked them for a test set, they declined. At last though, they're reaching out to get some honest reviews. Kate seems ok from Beastboard. Keep up the good work Sir ;)
Good to see you again! Thanks for the comment. The wheels are really good for a 600 board. Not something i would rush out and buy but on this board at this price they are great.
I have the beastboard and prefer with Evolve 97mm wheels that fit right on. It is so good with 97’s with significantly more torque for hills and far better braking I wouldn’t switch back to 110mm wheels even if they are more comfortable. It would be great if you get a chance to review the new board they are releasing soon with 12S4P 30Q batteries, bigger motors and supposed to go near 58kmph they have said
Nice start and I agree this market is pretty saturated. However 25R 12S4P battery is much stronger, more current, than the original Onsra and I do not agree the enclosures look generic.Look forward to more about this one. Take care
Wth? I just ordered this boards fully expecting to have easy wheel options due to the abec design. I want to try it with regular urethane 97 and 110s. Can you thinks of a way to make this work? Thanks in advance 🙂
@@Prxsumo for a beginner or first board if you want to stay cheap and see if you like it then yes. If you know you are going to want to ride a lot and want to be serious in the sport then no. Its like buying a kia rio. It will get the job done but you are going to want to replace it. If you have the $ and are serious in the sport then go with the more quality boards. If you font have the money or are not sure if you would like the sport then this is a good entry level board
@@Ramatorix yeah I want something I'll be able to commute to work and back and Cruz around with alot of range what do you recommend have you tried Miles Boards I was looking at the Phantom
@@Prxsumo i have not tried the miles board yet. The favorite board I own is the onsra black carve belt drive version 2. But there are a lot of good boards out there so do as much research as you can and find a board that is going to work best for your style and interest.
In my experience, normally battery size and build quality. Batteries are probably the most expensive part of a board. So bigger batteries cost more. I am a car guy so I will explain it the best I can. A kia is cheap and feels much different than a toyota or honda right? In build quality and refinement. That is how the boards are. Not all but most of the more expensive boards are built better and you can tell the second you start comparing them. But thats not to say a kia cant serve the purpose of someone. Another example is expensive hiking boot compared to walmart boots. They are both boots and will get you up a hill. 1 is just more comfortable, better at the task, and will last longer. Can you buy a crappy expensive car or boot, yep you sure can. Are all expensive cars great, nope. But there is a big difference between a kia and an audi. The question is, what do you need to suite your needs? Is the audi worth the extra cost or will a kis do everything you need it to? Hope this helps lol. This was the best way I could think to explain it.

"With the board you get... some bracelets?" Lol! Great review! Very thorough and honest. If it were me I'd probably still go with the verreal rs as my budget board choice. I do like the idea of something between trucks and pulleys just not a rubber o ring. Should have been a metal washer IMO. I can guarantee I would blow those rubber things out first ride or 2. How do those wheels feel compared to clouds? I kinda like the look.
B thanks for the first comment. Ya, bracelets but no extra belts lol. I do not think the o rings will hold up but I will give it a chance. I agree that even with the crap service from verreal, that would be my budget board. I actually liked the wheels. It just sucks that they dont fit on cloudwheels style pulleys. They feel comparable to cloudwheels though.
@@Ramatorix no doubt verreals service sucks. Buyer be warned; everything takes for ever to ship, warranty is a joke, deck is small (IMO) but I personally have not had any problems with the major components of the rs. Another positive is when companies have the parts online instead of having to send the whole board back. I was missing my "Free bashguard gift" however (didn't even bother trying), and he (Vic) lied a whole bunch about the location and estimated time of arrival of the board. Come to think of it, the whole buying process seemed kinda scammy. 🤔 but, for the price I'd still have to go with verreal for budget.
The belts are 5M260 X 12mm, 12mm is the width the 5M is the depth of the teeth. It's a good board for the money, but try to remove and replace one of the motors from the mount if you would like to experience a real nightmare.
Interesting none the less. A 12S HW ESC and battery should make it stronger than the Wowgo and do well on hills. Hope you give this one just a bit more time and if you do the usual tests and run it will tell us a lot.
*thats funny, i just dropped a budget board review too lol.. i think these companies are starting to see more value in the honesty that us non big fish youtubers can provide.. good stuff*
I had a failed large bearing. I replaced them with Japanese kind and they are much better. Also replaced the wheel bearings with bones red. The washer that keeps the gear from rubbing against the trucks I replaced as mine were damaged. I also had a clicking noise in both my motors So I had one replaced and waiting to see about the other one getting replaced. So as the board isnt bad just annoyed at the little issues.
@@bmrbca3658 Hi dear friend , yeah we do a new board , you can see it in our IG page , it is here instagram.com/p/CN9HxQwhuw8/?. You can take a look and look forward to your good idea.
$700 USD it not much more than the cost of a new 12S battery. So perhaps this is a great parts board for the DIY community. I would prefer a 12S flat pack as it's more versatile for after market enclosures and deck styles.
So it looks like beastboard changed the code. Now when you use the code you will get an extra set of belts for free. Let me know what you think about this. Is it better to save money or get free belts.
I would prefer a shitty looking logo over a sleek one as then, the only way is up (and improvement). It's easy to customise appearance. As long as the board does what it says on the tin ;)
