Video I shot on the set, Yauch approved, even used my camera to frame up some shots of history being made! Lucky enough to be there working close to these guys who changed my world in 1986 when I saw them at the Ritz NYC! Quite a day which started at 5am on 14th St waiting for the PA's to show up and head over to Queens when in the distance comes a shadowy figure skating up..." This the Van "...It was Yauch! Couldn't believe it! He got in with the rest of us I put the MMM Rescue 911 tape on and we rolled out bumping...I'll never forget that ride and what a cool dude Adam was...Saw him twice more, once at a Deli NYC with his wife and he remembered me and of course at a Bad/Soul Brains show Irving Plaza when HR was Frozen! Thank You B-Boys

I love these miniature sets that are rare to see in any media today. The miniature city's they built for blade runner and the fifth element are absolutely insane.

Agree 100%! I watched a behind the scenes video on the set building of LA from Blade Runner 2049 recently. So cool. Those spinner POV scenes from Blade Runner and the sequel will always be my favourite scenes from the movies.

That was cool, I love how much production was put into it, but made to look like it was made on a “Godzilla from Japan, 1970” budget!!! Just incredible details, I remember the movies on Saturday morning creature double feature….Japanese monster movies…

I'm a massive kaiju / giant monster nerd and secondary music fan with the Beastie Boys' latter era works among my favorites: this footage is an amazing insight to what is arguably the greatest giant monster-inspired music video in film history and I, like many others here, thank you for sharing.

What a great homage to the Japanese monster movies in lieu of the fact that some of the video was filmed in Japan. The Japanese are great model builders that made the sets for those movies, a genre I've always loved. Fantastic behind the scenes footage and amazing model builders in their own right.
