I will always remember this album. Listened to rap from the early 80’s, six minutes dougie fresh your on. But the Besties were the best.

Saw them performing in Belgium in 1987 , at the very beginning of their career. Their image was no fake. After the gig we went on the street and to our surprise we saw the three of them loading their luggage full of alcoholic beverages on the tourbus. They were clearly drunk but were very kind and signed autographs . You could just feel they were enjoying life and their beginning stardom. RIP Adam. Will love them forever.

Funny,because back in the day 1980's as a teen, parties were sort of like this... We never trashed a house(others did rarely) but when people heard of a party somewhere a pack of us would go crash it and you had rockers,dweebs,punks,new age etc showing up... It was sort of like this and sometimes things got out of hand and house was wrecked and things stolen(not by me obviously)..Oh the good old days lol..That's why you NEVER advertise a party when your parents left for a week or weekend when in High School lol.... I mean some people screwed in the beds of the parents,kids and hallways!! One dude urinated in the closet as he had to go but the bathrooms were occupied..Some people drank too much and threw up where ever they were!! Hey,that was then.. We did get free beer in the fridge,as people put beer in the fridge and you know we drank it if we didnt like the guy or he was pissed drunk we found his stash and drank it....We found the parents hard alcohol stash,drank it clean away... So youngsters,this is what your parents did..I am in my early 50's and well,not proud of everything I did back then..Nothing too bad...My buddy ended up in some random guys 1979 Lincoln Continental (sweet car)..The keys were on the wall,car in the carport and a clear shot to get out,so...Well he borrowed it..I can say I did NOT go with him!! My girlfriend drove me and she was nearly sober! He drove it all night,sort of returned it and parked it on the grass of the High School 1 block away ,with keys in it..oh well.. A tidbit of 1983 folks...Don't be like me,be smart and stay out of trouble! But..I didn't do it :)

When this came out I was 17 years old and just graduated. Was my anthem that summer and nobody had ever heard anything like this music before. It was as ground breaking as Nirvana Smells like ten spirit. Glad I got to grow up threw the late eighties and nineties in my twenties. OMG life has been so good to me.
