Great video, coach! I've coached both boys and girl basketball from ages 8 to 12 for many years, now. The majority of the time in a lot of youth basketball, playing a zone defense kills an offense due to nothing else than causing the offensive players to stand still. Standing around and not moving means the defense wins... every time.
Lol...i remember one game...i was on fire from triples, last shot of the game, coach arranged a play for me, some casual teammate decided to shoot the ball...AIRBALL.
great content and tips on how to handle 2-3 zones. alot of teams implement these type of defenses so its good way to beat it. Also ball movement helos more and helps with being able to shoot 3's
The players who seem to do this best aren't always moving fast. They're precise and working to get better position and fake the defenders into freezing. Harden and Doncic are amazing because they don't seem terribly fast as they get past the first guy and go into the lane, but they just destroy defender thinking and the body follows.
You see this video and realize why MJ is better equipped than Lebron to deal with more complex defenses. Might be ONE explanation for his greater success in Finals 🤔
Leelahong Boonnak Chaiyabutr not super impressive, I give most of them away after I shoot some vids in em. So in my possession I only have about 4 pairs at a time.
