Skyward Sword has a few interesting glitches, in this video I explore a Glitch in Skyward Sword that allows you to beat the game in about 10min or less!

AwesomeFaceProd That is a pretty useless glitch, but still pretty funny! So would it technically still work if you just had two other files that weren't 'better'? Like another file was new and you were in hero mode and you did that glitch by accident, it would take data from the other file and mess up your progress, right? I actually did this glitch by accident once, but took out the disc before opening any files, and when I played again, my file was fine. Great video!

Yeah, you could technically load in other properties from files that aren't 100% complete I think. Not sure how useful that would be but I suppose it would be possible.

Assuming you dont make the mistakes I made, you could beat it in under 10min. Not to mention I did an intro and kept the video playing after the landed the final blow on demise.

I keep trying that! Once I had an empty save file in save file 2, a completed save file in save file 3 and hero mode in save file one and I saved and reloaded into hero mode but I started at the knight academy with no green tunic, no master sword, no pouch. It was literally the way it was when I started and no matter how many times I tried I failed also you didn't have double damage while fighting Demise. You took just as much damage as you would in normal mode

how the hell did you beat this with only only 8 hearts and end with 5? i mean the normal damage from demise in hero mode should be 4 hearts of damage and you got hit only 2 times! like hoh did you get hit only 2 TIMES!?

Due to the nature of the glitch, Im pretty sure the hero mode damage modifier doesn't actually carry over.

Dophin is one of the best emulators out there for Gamecube and Wii no doubt. I was judging you, I was just informing you that Dolphin indeed can't play Wii U games, Wii U emulators do exist like CEMU but they aren't nearly as developed. The dolphin developers even said at one point that because the Wii U operates very differently it would be easier to make a new Emulator rather than adding Wii U support to it.

AwesomeFaceProd However, the lag in Dolphin is tremendous, but for such an amazing console, lag is not really a big issue..

O my god, I completed this game 3 months ago and watched some speedruns already, but only now I understand that final fight. I just didn't try putting my sword in the air, because skyward strikes weren't possible in that parallel world. I came in there with 4 heart++ and 1 heart potion and 20 heart containers. I finished with only 5 hearts. Every time I got him down by carefully waiting for him to take a small brake he jumped up right before I could hit my final blow. Still don't know if that's because he wasn't stunned by electricity or that I just wasn't quick enough.

I didn’t use the lightning either. In fact I had no idea you could combo him, I just did one hit each time I broke his defenses. It took 3 fatal blow sequences for me to get him.

If I had to take a guess, probably. They didn't update the game in anyway when they put it on the eShop so it should work fine.

It doesn't load all the properties from the 3rd save, just some.

But it changed the numbers of hearts? I think the game says you have 6 hearts and then checks that that's not possible and gives you the minimum you can have at that point of the game. Pretty awesome how some of these glitches expose some of the logic in the game.

But the minimum is 6... You can always just not get any heart containers and heart pieces. Ever heard of 3-heart runs? (even though on Skyward Sword it would be a 6-heart run)

I don't actually start playing until 0:30, and I input the final blow on Demise at like 10:00 exactly. I technically beat the game in 9:30. I had to do an intro, and I kept the video running until after the credits to show that it functioned like normal. Plus I even said in the video that I'm out of practice and I made two mistakes that cost me a bit of time.

the category is any% basically as long as you beat the game, its legit it has been done and accepted

USING AN ALREADY USED FILE DOESNT COUNT! I hate people portraying speedruns in a way that breaks the literal rules OF THE SPEEDRUN! STOP IT! The world record now in 2020 is an hour and 22 minutes, back in 2016 it was over 5 hours.

It works. You might be messing up the timing on the reset glitch or when loading the save from the "Back in Time" glitched menu, those can be tricky.

@@memelordmurphy6203 because you arent allowed to use a used save file in a run. You need to start with empty ones so you would to complete the whoole game before doing it.
