Beat the Clock 1979 - Pilot #1 

This was the 1st ever Double Dare !!

There are a couple of differences between this and the series. In the Bonus Shuffle, the amounts were between $300 and $1000. Whatever was won there would attempt to be multiplied by ten in the stunt. Also, both members of each team would get an opportunity to slide a disk down the table. The bonus stunt here would eventually be used in the actual series. It would take a few unsuccessful attempts before a couple managed to complete it for $4,000.

What's with the Baby Bottle?

The clock on this version is such a big, klunky, ugly thing. The Jack Narz/Gene Wood clocks were the best.

All the games they played are irrelevant because it’s whoever gets the highest amount in the shuffle board round - kinda dumb… Green team was horrible - no way they should of been the champions to come back…
