Such an important topic! Also remember that Disney does NOT want you getting heat stroke on their watch...if you feel ill or need medical attention, seek out an awesome Cast Member and they'll help ya. PS - To clarify, all Dole Whip flavours are vegan EXCEPT coconut (sadly)
No this is what I mean. Coconut is soft serve. Not dole whip. People call it that, including me sometimes, but it’s not dole whip. All dole whip is vegan and gluten free.
I would get either a rollup hat with a brim or a small (3ft wide max) folding umbrella. It'll protect your back and arms. Either a UV rated light colored or black umbrella should be good. The hat or umbrella takes up as much room in the pack. On the fans; I would get a washed pill bottle that's stripped of its label and put some AA and AAA battteries in it. I do this all the time for my pack.
Back in 2007 there was a heat wave in California in September and that just happened to be during our Disneyland trip… temperatures reached over 110. Anyway, when you mentioned Pirates it made me smile because we literally rode that ride 9 or 10 times every day because of the AC (and low wait times). So now it’s my husband’s favorite ride.
@@MagicalHijinx you’re super sweet to reply back ❤️ (you really, really do an excellent job with your content, but what sets you apart is that you really do seem to appreciate the people who watch you… thank you)
Sup Demi! These are some excellent tips to beat the heat. Some of them also help to avoid the rain. Although I never go to Disney during the summer, these tips certainly will help when it is unseasonably hot when I do go. So thank you very much! I remember spending a lot of time in the Relaxation Stations when I was there in October 2020.🥵 And I really do hope in-park beignets come to MK…I know how much you are looking forward to that.😂
Shut up - I love the Princess Diaries part! 🤣 The Columbia Harbour House upstairs usually has good table availability and good AC. Shoutout to the umbrella hat! I did not know about the Merchant of Venus seating area. Great tips!
Weird you say that about lightening lane on space mountain because I have used it twice there. Once alone and once with my dad and both times we were on alpha. I kept thinking wow I was worried it was rough based on what people said but I didn’t find that side rough at all.
Yep! Alpha is great! I love space mountain but I guess I really just love alpha lol that’s great that you got it but the norm for lightning lane is omega
We’re here in Orlando right now. Today we went to Volcano bay then to Universal. We got cups of ice water and dunked our cooking towels in them. So nice! We will be in Magic Kingdom on Wednesday so thanks for the tips!
girl that was alot more graceful when I first had my first time at the French Quarter gift shop. I looked like a child. it was such a mess. I wish they sold dole whip at the cafe...it would be so easy! But noooooooooooooo only the poli gets dole whip at the hotels ....
Belt clip fan is my MVP for every Disney trip, the neck ones (even if they're "light" will give me neck strain which will lead to a headache). Highly recommend trying the belt clip fans! They blow air up your shirt (I usually place mine on the back) and you can clip your shirt to it so it won't go flapping off. Really appreciate the tips on the parade!! Shade was hard to find for it for us.
I had that fan for Food and Wine and it did not help at all under my shirt lol it did help when I clipped it onto my shirt to blow in my face but it didn’t last the full day.
@@MagicalHijinx Oh wow, interesting!!! It was the absolute mvp saver for me on all our trips, sorry it didn't work for you :( Also yeah, it doesn't last the whole day, I just turned it on when I was outside after I started to get too hot to save the power.
