This stuff really works when applied properly. Been a lot drier than normal this past month in the Southeast. Already running the irrigation. Last year I didn't have to run it much at all.
@@BYDonBermudaGrassCentral I did I read the instructions and like you said it does not like sun so I did it in the evening, pre soaked and then applied and heavy water after, I did not know about the 24 hours later so I will do the that tonight. Thanks again.
So I got lucky and applied hydrertain after a good storm about 2 weeks ago and have been watering for a new lawn with sod and seed. Since iv applied we haven’t had a drop of rain and If it wasn’t for the hydretain my seeds wouldn’t have germinated. Last month my Bermuda germinated in about 15-20 days without it. This time with hydretain my seeds germinated in 5 days… just sayin! lol that stuff is great! Love the videos man!
Great Video, I will be using Hydretain Liquid next season on my bermuda lawn. I'm sold on how it works... Question: What size diameter hoses do you use to send water to your sprinkler heads? 3/4" or 5/8" ?
Cheat code…. Put a cut off valve on the hose and then the quick disconnect. Then you don’t have to turn off the hose when you are switching to another sprinkler.
@@robertobermeier9172 the one in the video is a stand alone Orbit Sprinkler with like a billion settings on it 😀. Picked it up at Home Depot on clearance for like 3 bucks. I’ll look into producing a video on something like this.
I wait and actually apply my Hydretain DURING a rain event. I wait until it's been raining for at least 30 minutes (and will continue to rain after) and then go out and apply. My neighbors must think I'm a crazy person if they see me, but this way I can be sure it's evenly absorbed down into the soil off the grass blades
Can you mix this with other liquid lawn treatments. I have a liquid Micronutrient Booster and humic acid that I want to apply to my lawn also...I just under an acre so I have alot of yard. Can this be mix all of this together in one sprayer and maybe increase the ounces per gallon or whatever on the sprayer a bit to account for the multiple products being sprayed at the same time?
Quick Link to yard Mastery site doesn’t have Hydretain ES for sale. It only has the basic version. Is it similar or does the ES have more bang for the buck. Agree the quick connections are gold. I bought 10s of them and connected to everything that uses water. Easy peazy .
