They really aren't hard once you get the patterns and timings right, it was almost impossible for me to kill lynels before, and now i can because i practice! Keep trying and you will get the hang of it!😀
You need SERIOUS cooperation to do that!b And it was a SILVER Lynel as well! Try beating a Golden one next! and have a handicap as well! Also with the one joy con/person thing! CHALLENGING STUFF!! Remember to have the extra handicap like 5 fairies*, only one or two types/classes of weapons and/or arrows, or some other handicaps. (*required for challenge, because it's not too many or little in my opinion, and you don't have to wast fairies, so if you get killed five times, you can still have fairies but if you die again after using five fairies then challenge over) Also, I won't mind Mipha's grace. you can prepare whatever you want, in case you have to, grab plenty of fairies so you can to run away. Again, after you use more than five fairies, it's challenge over, you can try again. Of course, you can use whatever, but you CAN have five or more fairies, maybe handicap your healing. Maybe even heal after you get revived. Practice cooperation skills, menu scrolling skills, and what not, all while using the one joy con/person thing, and get ready. I at LEAST want to see a handicap.
I have 155 hours exactly in the game, and I still run away from Lynels and don’t kill them! (Actually, I have never tried. I probably could. I am way better at this game than I think.)
I know what you mean, I used to do it all the time (and still do with white lynels). But to upgrade the barbarian armor you need their parts. Red lynels can give the parts in limited quantities.. so if you have the patience. I usually eat some defense boosting food right before I fight them. Just get some additional healing foods in case and you should be good to go. Don't use ancient arrows- it eliminates any drops.
Thanks! Now I have killed ONE Lynel... it happened to be the Red Maned lynel on Ploymus Mountain. Yeah... at least now I know a spot to teleport right to a Silver Lynel!

Oh yeah my sister and I did this with that spear lynel in the North Tabantha area by that maze. She had the left joy con so I did most of the work with the right one. Probably took us like 5-ish minutes to do.
Me and my best friend played one joy con each it was really fun but we didn’t fight a lynel... INSTEAD WE WENT STRAIGHT TO GANON BECAUSE WE’RE FRIGGIN IDIOTS!!!!! And then we gave up on windblight XD
