i bought the guide for 20 dollars. i am now a master at ark The Guide - www.amazon.com/unofficial-Gui... Where I get my music - www.epidemicsound.com/campaig...
Facts. When I first played in 2017, I played for 48 hours straight on Official PVP. And my first 6 hours were just dying so much until I got far enough to die just enough; often.
Nope day 1 u die and day 100 u die it will always be the same unappreciating game that gives you an alpha rex when u are defenseless for even 1 minute ark is ark or maybe thats the way to play it
The iguanadon is probably the most important tame in the game as it has a ability unique to itself. 2 thumbs up when you're feeling down and that kind of a morale boost is priceless.
@@heybro7341 yea but can you tame a trike with bola's and clubs, the iganidon can fight but it's main reason is for escape and travel it's weight is amazing and it has infinite stam
I'll start for the first time in pc (soon hopefull) in the island but I'll also get the Dlc's that have wyverns and rock drakes because I can >:/ Can I transfer Dinos across maps?
Not to mention not really having any explanation on how to play the game.. Funny part was watching him lay down thatch(waste of time wont protect you from anything.. and no dangerous dinos on the beach huh? I got chomped by a spino while standing in my thatched hse the first few days of playing
Until you get your first character to level 70 the game can seem very overwhelming with stuff. But once you get the right few dinos the gameplay picks up quite fast. Get a trike and pteranadon as fast as possible. Build 4 mortar and pestle, then use the 2 tames to get tons of meat and narco berries. When a stack of meat is about to spoil 1 piece, split the stack. Each split will keep the original time meaning you can have 40 pieces spoil in 30 seconds. Do this with 500 meat/ get 2500 narc berries with the trike. Easy to just drop every other berry while harvesting. This will level you up and get you enough Narcotics early game to tame whatever you need.
Moschops is good too, a high level one you tame can kill trikes in a small amount of time plus they can farm a lot of berries and have a special ability to farm more of one resource
Hold up, iguandons are the shit. They're one of my favorite beginning to mid dinos. They do a lot of damage after raise, they can jump over walls, they run fast, they berry farm, and can turn berries and I think vegetables into seeds
and on abberation pretty sure if they harvest the red mushrooms (not the pointy triangular ones or you will start drowning) and they should give you bio toxin
I have 1.5K hours and I love iguanadons. They are usually my first tame as you can knock em with a bola and slingshot and they can get a bunch of narcoberries and defend you until you get a trike
@@edwardjarvis3442, fr, can’t even use Pteras late game unless you put everything into weight, they can’t carry you when you’re fully armored and armed.
It ain’t ark if you’re not getting harrased the whole time by alpha dinos and fought 10 ppl, lost ur stuff, took someone else’s stuff, fell asleep and then got wiped.
I was so proud when I first started on ark, killed all the other bobs on my beach till they picked another beach, built my shak, got some dinos....Then got wiped overnight.. goodtimes.
Never waste time using clubs for early game knockouts. Make an extra bolo and use the LT/RMB to use the rocks as brass knuckles. It DOES do slightly more damage, but WAY more torpor than the club, attacks faster, indestructible when used for melee, and you still have a bolo to throw equipped. ROCK-PUNCH FTW!
I actually think the iguandon is arguably the best first tame on a lot of ark maps tbh. Cant go wrong with Trike, Iguandon, or a Moschops to start. Or all 3. Trike is great for berries and combat, iguandon is one of the best travel mounts plus has decent damage and health and gathers berries well, the moschops has good health and damage for a dino its size plus its fiber harvesting is insane. The moschops does pretty well with berries too.
They really made a guide and didnt say where the artifacts are....thats probably the most relevant thing they coulda said considering a lot of bobs don't even know there are bosses
@@tmasikutirm4392 I never said they weren’t I said iganadons are the ground verison Argys because they are amazing for metal runs you guys don’t have enough hours in ark
keep killin it man, can not wait to see what the future has in store. great editing, great video, great everything, good job man you really got it down.
Iguanadons are underrated. I had my first iguanadon and kept it with me for a very long time and if you know how to play them right you can easily kill T rexes and even an alpha raptor. To kill an alpha raptor all you really have to do is attack while backing up so you can hit the raptor but it can’t really reach you, also if you just level their melee, weight, a tiny bit of speed, and health, they’re very very good travel/burden mounts
Iguanodons really are a great early game tame. Being able to run indefinitely is incredibly useful, they carry a decent amount of weight, are reasonably fast, and are actually decent in a fight. They also gather pretty well.
@@pizzadna7206 to be fair Minecraft is $25 or less and Ark can go up to $100. Plus adults are into ark but the amount of adults that play games like ark are split up between ark, Conan and 7 days to die. Depending on if they like medival, dinos or zombies. And most adults don't have time for games unlike all the kids that sit on there butts playing Minecraft 🤣 But hey if you like to play it then go ahead it's not a bad game and has a lot to do. I just like games that have amazing graphics. I used to play Minecraft all the time but after I played ARK I just couldn't go back.
In about every map release someone in my tribe would tame an iggy. In Ab they were wonderful going from green into blue for the first time. On Ext they were great for being a mule on gathering resources for the starter base. On Gen1, ... well don't make a base in swamp, but they were great from running away from the dang insect swarms. Will always be my fav starter.
The Iguadoon is bad ass, its similar to spino where it can actually stand up on it's back legs and when it does this it does ALOT more damage and can move easier and even jump so if your stuck in Abberation you can actually use a iguadoon to jump up the mushrooms near the surface entrance where drops spawn. So it can Run really fast, can jump and has the ability to literally stand on it's back legs and Box using its fists. If you had a Iguadoon instead of a paracer those trodoons and raptor's that got you would have died easily
Pretty sure tahy was part of the joke. Those dinosaurs were never going to survive any boss fight, heck they probably wouldn't survive a fight with a mid level Rex.
I've heard many people try to give a walk-through of the island and some of the other Maps but I'm with you on the idea of being able to just do letters a b and c and get a certain result because as an experienced gamer I can tell you after looking in depth at this game it is one that would take the natural course of gameplay several years to complete. And it would never be done in one single tank a person would die many many times before ever reaching their goal.. Add to this that it would take 3 to 5 times longer if they didn't have all of the walkthroughs online to help them learn where things are on the map and how certain things are done so they are useful
I like that the Switch version opens with the Helena opening scene. It gives a little more incentive, in a funny way. But yeah, I don't know how any one would 've found the cave/dungeons. I bought the game to nerd out on dinosaurs, and then I found the first cave, and realized there was so much more to this than I thought. Then I died again lol
Dilo packs are highly underrated tho. I could clear a swamp pretty quick with my first dilo army. My second one was so well bred that they could handle the ragnarok volcano with impunity.
Iguanodon can pull seeds from berries, so if you have a gacha tower set up for element farming that needs like 300,000+ seeds/hr having a couple of them around is handy.
I never built my first one. I kept trying and it kept getting destroyed so I instead just joined a tribe and had a big ass base for a while until I learned how to play. Not from the tribe but by simply figuring out because they were dickheads.
Got into the game late because I knew how much went into learning how to play. Just recently started playing and coincidentally did almost everything you just did 😂
I remember playing for the first time and I loved Ark. i remember playing on the island for about a week and then went to the center. Grinded that for a while and then went to SE did that for a long while and bounced back and forth to the center. Then I got into my first alpha tribe on rag. Had lots of fun. Then I played ab. Fell in love with it and played that the most. Still play on that map. Then I went on ext and just played enough to get the stuff from there. Then I started on community servers and that’s when the fun began. Played a month of valguero and even less of the genesis 1 map. Explored a little on gen 2. And I plan to get around to playing all the maps again.
