To be fair, I had no fucking clue why margit came back from the dead and changed his name to morgott until WAAAAY later when I rewatched one of the cinematic things that lists the lords (he and the nihil guy are cursed and mutated kids of radagon and marika, I guess? That reminds me, their other two children were also cursed with eternal childhood and rot respectively. Are any of radagon and marika's children NOT cursed horribly?). It's just kinda weird that he shows up as a introductory tutorial boss in front of godrick's castle AND ALSO has horns glued to his face and a weird scorpion tail grafted to his back which makes him look even more like one of godrick's lackeys than his location already does. Like why go through any of that if you're supposed to be the leyndell guy? Also I thought only tarnished can willy-nilly come back from the dead?

@@Orillion123456 Demigods are immortal, Morgott is a demigod, therefore he is immortal. Although most of the demigods you slay do stay down (I assume their soul returns to the Erdtree), Rykard is implied to have the ability of resurrection from this Erdtree-induced limbo in a conversation you have with Tanith after you kill him.

Also the funniest thing, I laughed for like 5 minutes after seeing it like "what the hell is this? Is this a bowling ball?"

@@iloooveBOMBS Every Souls veteran immediately went "Oh it's just a mimic. Kill it." But since I'm new to these games I was feeling the terror of being chased by a bowling ball that can pathfind itself towards my specific coordinates in a wide open area because i thought it's just part of the environment manipulated by magic.

this is probably the most lighthearted fromsoft game

@@sapphire4310 sekiro has about the same overall tone (war torn land with something fucked up underneath) but I'd say the light hearted stuff in elden ring is more "fun" than sekiro, where everything is more earnest.

I believe only Melina and Ranni actually mentioned anything about Torrent. Ranni's body died from the rune of death, forcing her to inhabit the witch doll. Meanwhile Melina said she has no body. Weird coincidence...

He went straight for every "Early Game Win" weapon in spite of chat questioning his sanity for the DS1 playthrough he put on the channel, so he clearly knew what he was doing at least once.

@@naufalap I believe he has chat helping him, sometimes during the video it sounds like he got recommended to go to X place, but it definitely helps that key items you get are not terrible at telling you what to do if you pay attention

The one thing I've learned from playing is that the witch girl's side quest connects to a ton of really cool stuff that doesn't even feel like side content

​@@DimIsHigh "Rare" plants respawn (although the actual trigger for that is unknown, either boss kills or an internal timer), but even then 50 is quite a bit compared to the 10 or so boluses available to be bought or looted. So yes, it is easily crafted.

@@Loiya0451 Actually sacremental buds, the dragon gravel and aoenian butterflies do NOT respawn whatsoever. They do drop from specific enemies though.

@@malpheus4299 Yeah, the buds in particular can be farmed from the infested dogs around the places they grow. Damn shame the +droprate talisman is so late in the game tho

Because the omen’s are hated in the lands between, Morgott who is the king of leyndell doesn’t want people to know that he is an omen so he creates a character called Margit to fight on the battlefield to preserve his crown. It’s kinda sad

If you're talking about the debuff we get if we hug Fia, then it doesn't matter. It's only a 5% decrease in health which is a completely insignificant amount compared to how much damage any of the enemies do. Also, there is more to that one item.

@@viablezombie9419 Yeah, but in that situation you stab your spouse's face during the wedding ceremony. This time time around it's unusual because nothing weird happens. You just go, "you know, this witch be pretty hot," put a ring on it, she accepts, and bam, married. The dowry is a magical greatsword, but that's downright normal compared to how strange these things usually get.

Well to be fair, there are a lot of repeated/similar models that are different characters, and in the streams, RT wasn't paying much attention to lore, so the Who's Who of the world didn't click really. So it's understandable if he wasn't sure if there was lore about them being brothers or something like that.

He's in a cave in the first area. You fight him as a boss, halfway through he begs for mercy and you can choose to spare him. If you do, there'll be a message on a bridge near the volcano manor, that tells you that rainbow stones lead to treasure and you prolly don't need me to tell you what happens if you follow said stones.

Fun fact you can summon him to help fight general radahn however, if you do he takes one look at radahn and immediately leaves

this definitely seems like it falls into the genre of "stories where you never actually figure out what anything really means" makes me wonder if the voice actors were ever even told their own character motivations. major characters' performances feel pretty flat

@@captainblue5096 Never said they weren't, but the person who tested each summon tested them all against the same boss, and there were a couple that could almost solo the boss, most could get it to about a 3rd health, but the two summons he was using only did about a 3rd or 4th of the boss's health before dying, there are a couple others that are much worse then them however, including one or two that didn't even hit the boss before being killed.
