I’ve seen someone give themselves shit tonnes of health and damage, but their gimmick was they can’t sprint, move at half walking speed, they only attack with their fists and their character’s name was Mr. X

The true protagonist

This is 100% the normal way to play the game. Jack is the only way to beat the optional dlc dragon boss, without him you get insta-killed and your entire save-file is deleted.

The Hellkite Drake breathes fire and according to the game it's not a true dragon either, though. Pretty sure "true dragons" in the context of Dark Souls refers to the Everlasting Dragons and their descendants, while drakes are distant relatives.

If I'm not wrong a dragon have 6 (seath is weird) limbs 4 legs and the wings while the drakes or wyverns only have 4, 2 legs and the wings

@@JotaPS88 Unfortunately, I think it's more complicated than that. The Everlasting Dragons actually had eight limbs, four wings and four legs, and so do their descendants Midir and Ash Lake Dragon. But the Undead Dragons, Kalameet and Sinh have only two wings, and the Gaping Dragon has six legs instead of four for some reason. As for drakes, both types seen in DS1 have two legs and two wings as you said, but then there's the Nameless King's Stormdrake which has four wings, as well as feathers for some reason. And to make matters more complicated DS3 also has wyverns, which may or may not be a species of or even synonymous with drakes.

Probably because drakes arn't weak to lightning, a distant reletive, mortal and are usually 4limbed and 2 winged instead of 6limbed and 4 winged (Seath and stone dragon), and everlasting dragons lack pain receptors, so yeh. Also dragon scales are key to immortality which seath lacked, thats why he's mortal when u break the primordial crystal

if i didnt have the concept of someone just showing up in my playthrough to wreck my shit randomly id probably play it, that sounds really fun but the concept of being attacked at random by people better at the game than me sounds supremely not fun

@@poisonmantis4191 Yeah, those moments sucked for sure. It feels a lot less toxic at launch when everybody is new, than months (or years) later when you're new dealing with veteran players.
