You know being out of work after Friday always is nice, but you know what feels really good? Knowing that there will be a new Thab N64 video, thanks for the spark of joy. And knowing he's going to say "Whats that?!" very consistently whenever he runs the RNG for the next video!

Honestly, I'm kind of impressed with this game: for a no name N64 title, it's pretty complex looking with its puzzles. But I would probably only spend like 45 minutes at a time playing this one - I played the Adventures of Lolo on switch online and it was a similar experience: very fun but it could burn you out real quick

Heck yes! Discovered this series 5 days ago, this is the first one ive been actively anticipating. So glad to have one to anticipate each week for... well, a long damn time it seems :) happy to be introduced to titles I've never heard of, stoked to relive the ones I love. Once RU-vid catches up, I'll check out the twitch and settle in for some longplays of the favs. Might not be able to wait lol. I love seeing the random selection for next title. Awesome videos.

This game feels more like it could be a minigame from another bigger, more complete, game. It's really just sokoban with a twist, move the parts to their designated spots and voilà (it's a bit more complex than that, but this is basically the essence of it).

I had this game growing up, I think my mom got it at a yard sale or something. I never got too far into it as a kid due to the puzzle difficulty, but glad to see you play this and struggle just like I did!

Woo! Rogue Squadron is one of the very best SW games! Be sure to check out hi res mode to see the best graphics on the entire system (IMO) but then turn it off so your framerate is smoother.

One of the few N64 games that I actually had(wasn't big into console gaming at the time). I think I got it as a gift from someone who didn't know anything about games.

I'm thinking that's how everyone who had this game came upon it. I very luckily came upon Diablo this way, my grandmother got it for me for my birthday. Years later you stop and think "Woah, my grandma was badass"

@@Oakshield2 hah, most of my best gaming memories when I was young came from my brother, who was six years older than me and had much better taste in games, and much better access to games. He was the only reason I got into the original Diablo and my favorite MMORPG of all time, Ultima Online. Spent most of my time in Diablo 2 after that, which is a game that I got on my own. However, without my brother introducing me to the original, who knows what I would have been playing.

Had this game as a kid, no idea how or why but just remember owning it. Don't think I ever even got to the snow environment. I remember it had some mini-games I used to mess around with though

I just wanna say before I forget (sorry unrelated to video) but I just noticed how the thumbnail style has evolved over time and I feel they’ve only gotten better, and where it’s at now seems perfect. Great conveyance. Props to the designer :) (is it you Thab?) Anyway now I’ll watch the video lol

I was actually thinking the opposite. In the first handful of videos, the lettering of the challenge progress matched the typography of the games title. But this stopped at video 26. Now it's more of a template thing going on. But I guess to some that clean art direction makes it come across as more professional and cohesive, and I totally get that. So it's not a critique in any way.

Personally, I think looking up a solution to a puzzle is not the same as looking up a playguide. I rarely use guides except when I get stuck on a mini game puzzle, because I could either spend hours trying to solve it or those same hours actually playing the damn game. BUT, I always give the puzzle a real good go first.

Interesting game, I had never heard of this one but it reminds me alot of Bombuzal which I used to play back in the late 80s or something. It was a good puzzle game.

lol charlie blasts still remember my cousin getting me it for secret santa the cover looked cool, then i realized it was a puzzle game which aren't my favorite (unless we playin tetris attack) and the game impossible only n64 game i owned that i didn't beat yet

The alternate version of this game that you mentioned called the "bombing islands" has the character kid clown on the cover. He's from a super nintendo game called Kid Klown in Crazy Chase. I...guess this is a sequel?
