Beating EVERY N64 Game - Donald Duck Goin Quackers (88/394) 

The next N64 video is going to take quite some time to be released. There is currently the perfect storm of events making this happen: I am traveling a lot with my girlfriend since we're in a long distance relationship and can be together now, my editor is about to be on a week+ vacation, and the next game is just insanely absurdly long. Some people suggest releasing videos like this in multiple parts, but I don't want to do that. It would be good as a short term solution, but I see this challenge as a long term project. One video per game is how I like to do things. I am not quitting the challenge whatsoever, but it might be a bit before the next one comes out. The good news is after that game, the videos will definitely be released regularly again, as there will be no things to prevent that. Plus there will never be a video as long as this next one (at least I hope). Anyway, thanks for watching these. I never expected as many people to be interested in this as there are.

I got randomly recommend this guy a few days ago and have binged all his n64 videos. Great content.

Fun fact - this game is pretty solid even though it's a licenced platformer because it was developed by UbiSoft and running on Rayman 2 engine, so it had both a solid foundation and some serious talent behind it. Apart from being a bit too short (especially with this lax difficulty), it's definitely fun and something I consider a hidden gem in N64 library.

There's actually a very simple mnemonic for remembering the colors of the nephews: Dewey -> dew -> water -> blue Louie -> King Louie from off of Jungle Book -> jungle, trees -> green Huey is hred.

I discovered your N64 series a few weeks ago and have been binging them ever since. I am fully invested into your journey. Over 600 hours, and not even a quarter of the way through? wow. to me, the weirdest thing here is hearing the English names for all those characters, lol. as a German, I obviously read the books in German back when I was a kid. seems like they came up with completely new names. huey?? wtf, in German they are called tick, trick and track :D thanks for that journey!

This is my favourite N64 video so far. Good jokes, referencing Indiana Jones and crash in funny ways, cute game to look at and short enough video that it didn't reach the stage where you look how far through you are. Good job thab

I remember seeing ads for this as a kid, the games released in 2000 all had pretty decent graphics compared to earlier games, never knew it was so short.

I loved this game as a kid.....and Crash Bandicoot...

This game was available on several platforms, with similarities and differences. The N64 game is most similar to the Dreamcast and PC, while the Gamecube and PS2 versions have different level designs as well as more content and voice acting and some other changes I can't come up with right now. There is a Gameboy Colour and Advance port but i know nothing about those. Lastly there is the PS1 version which to my understanding is the odd one out but like with the Gameboy versions i know basically nothing about it. Personally i grew up with the PC version, often struggling because i didn't know how to save properly and because world 3 made 7 year old me shit bricks.

Man i had this on my N64! i used to love it so much. I'm a Nintendo user until today so i never played Crash, interesting to know it was very similar.

Loved this Donald Duck game! I remember I never picked it from the rental store, but now I wish I did. (I didn't find the butt shaking weird though lol, i think it was super cute, and the outfits for Donald were awesome too!)

My favorite part is finding out the new game. If I had a favorite catch phrase in this series it would be "*** what's that?"

The problem with the N64 was, they wanted to do EVERYTHING in 3D. And due to this, the most games looked terrible. They should have released some great 2D-games. The SEGA Saturn could do 3D too, better than N64, but 2D-games on SEGA Saturn look like Arcade-Games, maybe even better, for example Golden Axe the Duel or Street Fighter alpha.

It's nice to see the costumes referencing his past movies/cartoons. Games seem fun too!

I always loved playing this game as a kid. i had it for the pc. The graphics weren't bad for the time, the gameplay was really fun and the game has a lot of love for the details.

Been binging all these as much as I can. Think I have like 20 in so far. Got recommended by the algorithm. Glad I did because I enjoy watching games from my childhood.

Disney licensed games were often good in the NES era and were often _stellar_ in the SNES era. This game came a little late (or perhaps a little too op early) for me to jump on it, but I remember it looking surprisingly competent, and I seem to remember coverage of it, possibly from Nintendo Power, even though I don’t remember playing it myself. It’s overall a rather perfect N64 title to “revisit”!

This looks like the most Crash Bandicoot game to ever Crash Bandicoot the N64.

Such a great series, I know its alot of work but its done really well and will be apart of history for the console. Great stuff! And remember go at your own pace, don’t get burnt out!

the nephews of Donald are hard to remember but here is how to identify them Huey is red (usually the leader) Dewey is blue (the wild card) Louie is green (fitting since he is the lazy one and orders you to collect the toys) I only know this because the ducktails reboot is one of my favorite animated shows

My son is 5 and is almost finished Mario odyssey. It makes me wonder how good the next generation of gamers will be compared to us. Thab at 5yo used to hold his controller upside down and he is amazing.

Merloc was also the villain in "Ducktales Treasure of the Lost Lamp", I think.

Idk why, but the animation device where a character is doing the motion of running but they're inexplicably standing in place until they suddenly jet off at full speed really grinds my gears, I can't stand it. As a result, the chase sequences in this game have become some of my least favorite moments in N64 history, and I had never even heard of this game until this video.

The good old days when you'd see close to 10 consoles/handhelds across the bottom of the screen in commercials on television every game in the early 00s seemed to be available on basically everything at the time which there were a lot of consoles out
