The Sada/Toru storyline was so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. I loved it.

They actually redid the 3d models for a number of pokemon in this game. Specifically Persian and the Eevees are the most noticeable. Also they updated the textures of the pokemon a ton and they look great

While the last fight way mostly scripted it was still an amazing moment, seeing those locks seal your pokeballs was great.

It's like watching classic Jon playing pokémon more in depth, I'm here for it!

A long time ago, I asked myself, "what if Jontron did more pokemon videos?" Never did I expect to actually get my answer. And certainly not for it to be such glorious content. Kudos.

Skwovet was my first shiny in the game as well! Found it really early about 25 minutes in game. I’ve grown to appreciate it a lot more while using it on my play through. Cheek pouch is also really fun!

Damn, I just started a full odds shiny Violet playthrough (though not just the first 6). Found a Tarountula within minutes of going back to poco path looking for something. Followed by my next, shiny female combee fairly quickly too. Others have been a tad slower but it’s interesting to see other people’s starts.

This gen is genuinely better than the past three gens, DESPITE the issues. The past few really started to make me feel like an adult playing a little kids game. THIS game makes me feel like a little kid again playing a new game. Gone are the days of me trying to rush through everything to get to the next town to buy a new bag or something and THAT was the fun part… lol.
