Beating The Heat and Crowd- Father's Day Kayak Bass Fishing- Millerton Lake 

Went out VERY EARLY for a couple hours to try and beat the heat and Father's Day crowd on the lake. It was a nice, cool, calm, and relaxing morning. Caught all the fish today on Lipless Crankbait and Top water Popper (Lucky Craft LV 150 in silver shad pattern and SPRO Popper silver belly with blue back). The Bass seamed to bite the popper when I put a lot of action and splash to it. Lipless was a slow retrieve, letting it sink a little.
