Just a quick reminder Rito, I love the series but during the fights I would love if you would give tips on fighting, or their patterns and such. For example, During the High Priest fight I can either take no hits, or take a whole bunch... Same with the Mine Flayer and even the Rat at times. I would love to know what is going through your mind when you are fighting them!

They give you Battery Bullets for beating the Dragun as the Robot, since he didn't originally have a past.

You can't fight the rat on your first run even if you have the ability to steal and know your pattern, because you have to get the prime primer and finish the Bullet

11:23 the gnawed key doesn't appear until you've completed the bullet that can kill the past. You could kill the rat on your second run if you knew/guessed the pattern.

I was just wanting to watch an episode where retro fights the rat because I'm struggling with getting keys from punchout but geeze! I think this is the most epic gungeon run I've ever seen. He not only takes on the rat but also takes on the boss from breaking into the 4th floor grate and on top of that kills off the high dragun. All of which he does as the robot which is the hardest character to play. Then he kills the robot's past! I'm so mindblown my brains are splattered against my bedroom wall!

Can't do the rat on very first run. the rat key doesn't spawn until you pick up the prime primer and deliver it to the blacksmith which requires at least one run to do. ;)

You could not take on the rat on the first run. The position for the rat's key is taken up by the prime primer on your first run. You could do it on the second run though.

The rat pattern for the notes is always the same Also im pretty sure that you couldn't do the rat first run because the primed primer takes the keys place until you buy it

You can't fight the rat on your first run because the prime primer will be in place of the key the first run.

I believe that the statue changes appearance when the advanced dragun is beaten, other comments suggest this happens during this video.

After killing the rat you can get a set number of keys based on your preformance, you can then use them in a room full of chests OR blank to reveal a secret room with a tiny dragon locked away (2 keys required) you have to feed him some guns/items and he will join you. When you get to dragun the will attack you with the dragun and when the boss is about to die he will kill the tiny boi and begin the "advanced" phase
