Chad - Oh dear, I missed this reaction! I was a Beatle maniac. Ringo (Richard Starkey) was a Starr and very popular! He had a great sense of humour, as did they all. I cried the night John Lennon was shot. Liverpool airport is named after him. I managed to get into the Cavern on Mathew Street in 1969 where The Beatles and many great bands from northern England got their start but it was closed and destined for demolition. The people who tore it down weren't terribly bright not realising the impact The Beatles would have for future generations. They built a new one for tourists but it just wasn't the same. The old one was dingy and dark but if those walls could talk! All the bands had written on the walls. Many Beatles songs had reminiscences of their home town like "Eleanor Rigby" and "Strawberry Fields".. Paul's father was a band leader and Paul's first instrument (of many) was the trumpet but that meant he couldn't sing so he picked up guitar and piano. He was an amazing bassist and only switched to that when Stuart Sutcliffe left.

I’m a huge Beatles fan, but have never been to Liverpool. But I have every one of their albums that I bought as a kid. I bet you would love their song “Hey Bulldog”. Thanks Chad!

Cute video. To be honest never been a hard-core Beatles fan but I think that's main because I was only 4 to 5 when the British invasion hit. But I went back yesterday and counted all the ones I did like, we more than I thought. But you know me Chad, I came in for the 2nd British invasion. Which I'll be joining you for next week. I knew this was the song and artist from the hint you gave at the end of your last video! I'm so glad that it was, finally, uploaded - and not, even, a whole day late! I'm not with the majority of people who are obsessed with The Beatles. I just really like them. There are a few of their songs that I'm obsessed with, though. But, this isn't one of them. And, that's after hearing it, at least, several times before. I don't think it's a bad song; just nothing, except, maybe, the horns in it, stands out to me. This was my very first time seeing the music video for it, though. I love the surprise video you put at the end of this video!

Oh, Chad!! I'm not a BEATLES 'S fan than the Bee Gees ,but there are some somgs that i love so much..Penny Lanes is a one... And Ringo is my favourite Beatle, and George, very humble, hilarious, funny, emphatic... He were a good MAURICE'S GIBB friend . They were neighbords in England and they made the hilaroous videos in their houses .. But they drunk together too 😔😔😔... But Ringo is fabulous at his 80 years old!! I recall reading that they used nine different piano tracks on this song. As much as I absolutely love this tune, Strawberry Fields will always be #1 in my book. btw: the horn you heard is a piccolo trumpet. With the exception of a few classical pieces, it was an instrument that was very rarely used. This song actually helped regain the popularity of the instrument and influenced many people to learn how to play it.

Ive liked lots of their songs over the years but never really been a fan. They were great storytellers and this song is a prime example of that. Penny Lane is a real place in Liverpool and Paul and John would have known the shops, the characters and other interesting buildings found in the area. Novelists generally write about what they know and it looks like Paul & John did too. I've been to Liverpool a few times but not been interested enough to go do the Beatles touristy stuff. I'm from Liverpool and Penny Lane a real long lane in Mossley Hill but the surrounding area called PennyvLane as the Lane runs right through . The street signs always get pinched 😂😂 . The area still basically the same with the caveat of modern changes but nothing structural changed its still the same ... Im certain Paul would just see home or Ringo ... GOAT. The Beatles man.

Greatest band ever plain and simple . There was before the Beatles and after the Beatles and it only takes a closer look to realise what all the hype was about. Influence unmatched. Penny Lane in Liverpool a few miles from me . It's not as exotic as you d imagine 😂😂 Just an area close to the lads hearts.

I've liked plenty of Beatles songs, but this isn't going to make the Playlist. It's ok, it doesn't stink by any means, but... You know what group is my favorite and first love and they're tied with McCartney and Lennon for the most number of number one songs ever written.
