Why on earth would you show that photoshopped photo of Catherine?! That’s horrible!!! Geez. Anyways I love your channels and especially this one. I am learning so much more about the other Royal families now. Thank you!! 💕💕
The Mirror should be ashamed of the obvious photoshopped image of Princess Catherine. At least we can see she will still be beautiful 30 years from now.
I wasn’t too keen on The Hat as I felt it created shadows. In November the light is very grey at the best of times. I also felt that the Remembrance service, coming so soon after the Queen’s Funeral made it a very stressful event. The funeral marches that were played were the one’s used as the Royal family walked behind the Queen’s coffin. I don’t know if I could have held it together. The Mirror newspaper was out to cause trouble and get publicity. The British public did notice but weren’t impressed. To use underhand tactics against a much loved princess and do it on a day of national mourning is a new low even for them.
😂 I can’t believe you used that highly photo shopped picture of Catherine to “prove” your point that the black wide brimmed hat aged her. Too funny! I still totally disagree and it definitely didn’t prove your point! 🤦♀️
I do think that particular photo is not a fair representation of how the hat makes her look. It was definitively photoshopped. I think the hat was actually ok, given the somber nature of the event; it also gave her a bit of privacy.
@@RoyalFashionNews you picked the one terrible picture amongs the other beautiful pictures to make your pick/decision 😂.Now I know you’re not really being fair or smart in your judgment of the other royals/ladies too.
The mirror pic WAS photo shopped. It is obvious. The Princess of Wales looked as she should have. Never use the rag, the mirror, as a guide. And I liked the White, very different look, in Monaco. It was weird, yes, but very put together and worn with style. Compared to the rest of them... she look striking. I would never wear it, but she was striking in it, and carried it off. The first outfit you talked about that you would rather see as a dress; I agree. If she wanted to go with pants... longer to the ankle would have done better.
Although it was a bit like a costume, I also like how Charlene looked. She's not afraid to take fashion risks and she could carry off the striking appearance of it, especially as she is tall.
On Catherine and wide brim hat at funeral: I also prefer her in smaller hats or fascinators, but the wide brim gave her a small amount of privacy during the emotional event.
Fortunately, the majority of people disagree with your fashion assessment of the Princess of Wales in her absolutely GORGEOUS wide-brimmed hat & exquisitely cut, black outfit on Remembrance Day! The Princess of Wales was REGAL & supremely elegant & on point for that somber occasion.
That’s the fun of the fashion channel! Everyone can have their opinion! I hardly ever like Catherine in wide brimmed hats. Just doesn’t work for her. Thanks for watching!!
Bad move to use that picture to prove your point on Catherine. That wasn't just troll-level doctoring of the photo (put the real shot side by side and it shows the even widened her nose!). It was in a left leaning anti-monacist tabloid. Not a good choice, but you don't normally do this so I assume you haven't seen both shots together.
For Queen Letizia of Spain: the jumpsuit again has a cultural connotation: the Spanish culotte have a long-standing tradition and history in the Spanish speaking realm from the Spanish Matadors (not to approve of Matadors but the look is part of the culture!) to the Argentinian Gauchos. That silhouette is deeply rooted in Spanish culture and tradition. So she nailed it with that outfit. I know we all have different tastes but the channel could benefit from being more knowledgeable about cultural nuances be that in regards to Charlene's South African style elements to Letizia's Spanish cultural resonances in her outfits ...and more. It doesn't all have to be Chanel or Gucci or Dior. YAWN! BUT I DO ENJOY YOUR CHANNEL overall! :)
Oh come on! Catherine's picture was totally photoshopped! I know you are getting some backlash about your comments about Catherine last week but don't support the Mirror photoshopping the picture by saying "see this picture! The hat totally ages her!" as a way to support you not liking the hat. That is so disingenuous.
They did perhaps manipulate it a bit, but the original picture wasn’t great either. They just chose a bad angle and the hat didn’t work. She did give them a bit of ammunition there. Thanks for watching!
@@RoyalFashionNews What? They manipulated it "a bit"???? They manipulated it significantly! Tell me, if they did not photoshop it then why are they the only one who got such horrible pictures? You are entitled to your opinion about the hat; you don't like it. I get it. But to say that SHE gave them ammunition is disgusting. She deserved to be photoshopped to look horrible because of the clothes she decided to wear? Are you serious? This is really disturbing and quite frankly sexist. Do you really believe that a woman gives someone ammunition to treated them poorly because of the clothes she wears?
@@hazelwindsor2769 Me too! I am very disappointed with her. It doesn't matter if the picture was photoshopped "a bit". It was photoshopped and that is not OK. And don't even get me started again about the "ammunition" comment!
Hmmm, not thrilled. by the double down here. The photoshop was real and malicious, no need to actually use it at all, and to hand wave your choice as Catherine deserved it because I didn’t like her hat on her is disingenuous and treats your viewers as unintelligent. There were plenty of other pics you could have used to illustrate your point.
@@spottedreptile2671 I agree. The double down here is horrible. This was a perfect opportunity for her to take a step back and evaluate what she posted and replied. And she didn't do it. Really disappointed in her response.
Agree except when they're cropped. I also wish she would wear a bootleg jeans sometimes. She looks stunning in everything though so it doesn't really matter
Hi Brittany , I like that you have your own takes on what everyones wearing and how they look. Sorry , you're getting backlash on Catherine's hat , but , I think to be honest critiquing a Remembrance Day event look should be off limits. it's not a social event, and Catherine wasn't there to showcase her fashion choices. She showed respect for the solemnity of the occasion . Maybe thats why a few people are hurt by the hat criticism 😄. Keep doing what you're doing , you show great love for the Royal family, and that's all that matters.
Brittany I believe you don't e en like The Princess of Wales. You don't need to put Catherine in your Fashion Show every Week. I think you are very Biased against Catherine the Princess of Wales. And plus The Italian Women you keep talking about. The Colour she is Wearing Washes her out. Catherine Carried that Colour Better Last Week.
Nope, not biased at all, I just didn’t like the look. If I liked every look, I would be disingenuous. Also, I said that I just don’t think wide brim works on Catherine. I’ve never liked any of her wide-brimmed hats. She looks better in fascinators. Thanks for watching!!
Brittany you must realise that hats are more regal than fascinators , i believe at one point you could only be let into the royal enclosure at Royal Ascot if you had a Hat , not fascinators.. Catherine will always wear a Hat at this solemn occasion as appropriate.. This occasion is not about fashion but respect , which was shown and maybe not needing to be commented on . But the photo you posted was very photoshopped ... It did come over as you had to say something bad against the Princess as she always seems to look perfect .
U can,t go wrong with anything Chanel. Especially a tweed jacket!! Always in good taste and the epitome of class. The pink is a very trendy color now and throws off a youthful appearance. She,s killin the game too. She pulls it off well for her age!!
The Mirror picture was so photoshopped it is ridiculous. The original picture does not make Catherine look old. That was put out by the Suck Squad or the girl child herself.
You really don't like The Princess of Wales and it shows in your videos and comments. That is the reason you call her Kate Middleton in your titles, not because of the algorithm. That's why you use not only the worst photo of her, but the photoshopped one. It is ok to dislike a person but, at least, be honest about it.
Nope, it’s the algorithm. I’be tried it multiple ways, and Kate Middleton just works better. It’s perfectly fine to not like something of Catherine’s. I don’t like everything she wears, and if I did it wouldn’t be genuine. Thanks for watching!!
@@RoyalFashionNews Of course it is perfectly fine not to like an outfit, but you don't have to choose the worst photo to prove your point. It sends mean girl vibes.
Princess Diana wore a wide brimmed hat. I disagree with your assessment of Princess Catherine. Will inform where you get get your fashion training? And, shame on you for using a photoshopped photograph to try to prove your point .
It was Prince Philip's memorial service. That said, she usually wears very little jewelry anyway, even on formal occasions. If I were a queen, I'd be taking the jewels out for a spin a lot more often!
I’ve never liked any of Catherine’s wide brimmed hats, except I did like the one she wore to Wimbledon. That’s it! The others I all dislike! She’s best in fascinators, I think! Thanks for watching!!
I love these Best & Worst Videos! 💖 We all have such different takes in fashion, and that's what makes life interesting. I love jewel tones & fitted styles, so my favorites were Queen Laticia's Green Coat Dress & Beatrice in that stunning Red Suit & Burgundy Hat. Matilda's Red Velvet Blazer & the actress in the Burgundy Velvet suit were also stunning. I despise most Tweed, so Caroline's pink suit made cringe, as did Maxima's Brown patterned dress & I hated Marguerit's Gray Coat . I actually loved Laticia's Boots, but definitely no on the Jumpsuit. Charlene looked like a Mannequin wearing a futuristic female Monk's costume, it was truly bizarre! Catherine's Polka Dots & the Sapphire Blue dresses were gorgeous! Thanks for another excellent video, you make it so much fun! I'm praying for your sweet fur baby, I hope she's feeling better. 🙏 Love you Honey!💖
Aww, thank you so much Baroness! So glad you enjoyed it! Oh, I don’t get Charlene’s look at all! I love the mannequin comment! It’s spot on! The Chanel tweed I feel like only works for like a jacket. Other than that, it’s mostly overload. Thanks for watching!!
CP Mary’s suit was such a success due to the perfect tailoring. Fit is everything. So many aspects of P Charlene’s B&W outfit are jarring but the real puzzler is the shoulder train. I love a royal shoulder train on a gala gown (it’s so regal!) but on a day coat? No thank you. It looks silly. I really want QSilvia to rewear her silver gown soon - maybe at the King’s Dinner at the upcoming Nobels- but without the huge wrap so that we can actually see the gown.
Since you mentioned Harry Potter, Princess Caroline’s outfit resembled the one worn by the cruel teacher (whose name I have forgotten). It’s sad to see how much Caroline has aged, but excellent bone structure is eternal.
Oh, that’s a great comparison! I wish I would have thought of that! Yes, Caroline has marvelous bone structure and I think she’s mostly avoided plastic surgery and is aging gracefully! She looks incredible! Thanks for watching!!
Well, I have a soft spot for Caroline, she was such a beauty in her days, had so much class and such a tragic life. May be she has found her peace and cares less now about dressing up. May be she is also missing her good friend Karl Lagerfeld and his inspiration? Anyhow, both she and Stephanie seems to have never quit smoking and it shows now. However, kudos to Caroline for going grey - something the much older Sylvia does not have the stomach to do.
You have sunk to a low to use a badly photoshopped image of Catherine to try and prove a point. It actually backed fired as anyone with half a brain will review the original and see it is a lovely photo. If this is the tactics you are going to use it invalidates your reviews. This is the manipulation of information which everyone is sick of in the mainstream. Are you deliberately choosing photos that skew the truth? So disappointed that you have Markled us. Hope you are able to learn from this and not Markle your audience again.
I’m just sharing my opinion. The photo was photoshopped, but the original wasn’t much better really. They magnified what was already there it seemed. I’m not going to like everything of Catherine’s, and if I loved everything she wore or did, the channel would lose its authenticity. I may like something Meghan wears too. Thanks for watching!!
@@RoyalFashionNews thank you for responding, but again you are misinterpreting what is being said. No one has asked you to like everything. But it's disingenuous to use a photoshopped picture which is nothing like the original and even the original publishers had the good grace to apologise. It just makes me now question the pictures you are using for your reviews. I am not saying that you have to like everything, but to deliberately use a photoshopped picture was a bad decision and petty.
The original ain’t great either! It’s just an example of how a fashion decision can have an unintended consequence. It’s a good lesson for everyone to learn. Thanks for watching!!
@@RoyalFashionNews I repeat it is actually a bad photoshop look I get that you don’t like the hats and that’s fair. But to use a photoshopped picture and say it ages her blah blah and then to say the original isn’t better is just wrong. The original is lovely her face looks normal yes she looks somber and sad but it was Remembrance Day. Maybe go look at the 2 pictures side by side which I have just done again and you can see how bad it is. As someone s mag does not like the RF and the sugars of the witch had something to do with it. I do like your channels and I do like watching but this was wrong.
Princess Catherine always gets it SO right when it comes to hem lengths for dress and coat combinations. The best look by far in this line up was her polka dot dress and camel coat. Tastes differ. I did not particularly admire her engagement dress. I also think Princess Charlene seldom puts a foot wrong but this was not her best look. Best look of the week was Catherine at Remembrance Day. Totally considered choice for that occasion.
Queen Maxima is a 100% failure. However, Catherine, Princess of Wales is my favorite, absolutely. The Monaco ladies are fails. I also love Crown Princess Mary. Please delete that photoshopped picture of Catherine. It’s terrible. You should know better.
The thing I did not like about Queen Letizia’s jumpsuit was the white on the sleeves. I found it visually dissonant. The white block needed to be shorter or longer or nonexistent. The way it went straight across from the bodice made her look like she was bound in her clothes.
I love Charlene of Monaco's style far more than any other European royals. The typical Chanel and Dior outfits, the Gucci looks are outdated imo (growing up in Europe I found them chic at age 8 but no longer now) Charlene on the other hand is in a league all of her own. Super chic a mix between her native African style a la a Picasso painting (Picasso obviously copied African art) and some 60's Jackie O. icon: streamlined silhouette, no frou frou and a regal elegance. OK the Black and white priest outfit was not my favorite but by and large she is light years ahead of her relatives the Carolines and the Charlottes and the Beatrice Borromeos (she is pretty but not striking like Charlene!)
I like all the looks of the Monaco ladies at the evening event, they all look really nice. Prince Albert looks a bit too big for his uniform, he should get a new one fitted.
Thank you, nice to know that with all the stylist assistance at their disposal, they can still get things wrong. But , when they get it right, it’s sooooooo right. I may be showing my age but his lovely to see a pregnant woman in something flattering. It is not flattering , or ladylike, to have a skin right dress with this huge bulge in the middle. Oh, yuk. I think pregnant women are so lovely and there are so many who seem to want to make themselves look - unattractive. ( hard time finding the correct word). As I say, this is my opinion and I am an older lady. Why in earth someone thought it appropriate to age that photo of Catherine. How cruel of a person, his very cruel. You can not have a nice nature to do something like that to anyone in the public eye. Thank you again. 👵👵🇦🇺🇦🇺
Gone Fishing All of Kate’s photo are photoshopped! Compare the picture of her from the Netherlands press to the one release by the trashy British press!
Dries (pronounced Drēz) van Noten is one of my favorite designers. The fabrics and cuts are gorgeous. You can't go wrong with Dries. I also appreciated the Dolce suit.
I still have a funeral/court outfit, and a light brown with dark polka dots for wedding or church. the rest of my clothes ae jeans and tops. spent money those 2 outfits, they are classic. I used to own a little black dress but, I'm 56 so i dont have it anymore.
The visiting girl school in Harry Potter was Beau Batten, I’m not sure of the spelling, and I agree with your opinion on this look. However Beatrice looks like she’s wearing a night gown set in the golden dress.
Wow idk if I’m more disappointed you used the terribly photoshopped picture of Princess Catherine or your response that ‘it wasn’t really different than the original 😳 I’ve enjoyed your channels for many months but pls don’t give oxygen to the disrespectful media Unsubscribing because of your use of the photoshopped pic to ‘prove your point’ and then defended that is was ‘not different than the original’ 😢
The boots look weird with where the jumpsuit ends. It should have been longer legs or a dress at that length. What is up with a coat with a cape attached to it? Watch, we'll see Meghan with it since she loves those cape dresses
Hi! Just thought that you would like to know that the first name of the designer Dries Van Noten rhymes with "Please." (I lived in Belgium for a long time.)
Beatrice is the saving grace for the royals of Monaco. The rest were horrid. Queen Letizia rocks it always...factoring in that she is petite, she knows what works for her. Princess Catherine of Wales looks elegant by simplicity. Loved the polka dot dress.
The boots I love and I love the top of the jumpsuit, but I just wish it was a dress! That might be because I’m always nervous about wearing a jumpsuit! It doesn’t always work for me! Thanks for watching!!
As for the evening looks in Monaco: Princess Caroline takes home the trophy with Tatiana Casiraghi second. I am a great fan of Beatrice Casiraghi(Borromeo), and her daytime look was fantastic. But for the gala she just resembled a tinselangel. Not so good, sorry.
The Lady beside Queen Matilda is Queen Paola the Queen Mother. She was a beauty and a fashion icon during the ‘60. Frankly if you don’t know her I wonder how you can think to consider yourself a Royal fashion “ journalist “.
That photo of Catherine at the Remembrance Day was badly photoshopped by someone. If you look at the original she isn’t like that. It’s a very bad photo shop to make her look haggard and old. It’s been outed that it’s a poor photoshopped picture
I always enjoy your fashion videos & watch them mostly to hear in your voice how much fun you have doing this for us. I do, however, have to stop reading the comments. Of course people can have their opinions but it hurts my heart when they sound so harsh and downright nasty. I don’t understand why they can’t just state their difference of option with kindness.
Hi Cindy!! You are so kind!! The reaction has been a bit of a surprise to me too! I want to be authentic and give my opinion, even if it’s a bit contrary. People can disagree, but the conclusions some are drawing has me confused. You can’t like everything of everyone’s. 🤷🏼♀️ Thank you so much for your support!!
The pink Chanel suit worn by Princess Caroline, does not look good, the jacket appears boxy, not a good fit. Beatrices red outfit looked fabulous, elegant and classic. Queen Silvia looked stunning, in her grey gown, wonderful. Queen Letizia looked fabulous, love the jumpsuit, she has the flair to wear it well and she does. The brown pantsuit worn by Pauline looks terrible. Queen Mathilde's red velvet suit looks amazing.
She has three tones of red...the Golden look, wow don't like either, she looks like the statue of liberty ready for the movie premiere of Goldfinger! 😊 🤷 Love Queen Silvia!!
Love your video's! But just for further reference: Dries van Noten does not create dry couture ... The double vowel in his first name is pronounced as the -i- in 'ski' or the -e- in 'we'. So now you know ...
Wow ... there are a few that I have to totally agree with you. The pink outfit, looks like Bepto Bismal. Princess Charlene looks like a Priest (especially from behind) ready to do a service. Queen Margrethe looks awful in that coat. The hat looks like it matches the dress, but I would have fired the person that designed this look for her. She may be elderly, but that is no reason to put her in something awful like that. Princess Caroline sure doesn't not look like her mother or have her mother's always stylish looks. AS for Catherine, Princess of Wales, she could be wearing a potato sack and somehow it would look fantastic with jewelry and accessories. Very enjoyable.
I find the pink tweed suit pretty bad. Far to much going on. I have a large bust so front pockets don’t work for me but I feel they photograph ,on these ultra slim ladies ,like droopy breasts. I wouldn’t want that look. I enjoy the channel and reading everyone’s views.
Charlotte, not Caroline, represented Gucci. Caroline has been loyal to Chanel for decades; I, for one, think the pink Chanel fabric and cut work well for an older women like Caroline.
(1:05) Whomever is walking with Queen Letizia... that business jumpsuit is slammin'! That woman wearing it is killing it, even with the trench coat on shoulders. I would like a scarf tucked under the suit or coat's collar, or a broach on the lapel, but at least this way, no distractions. I'm okay with Queen Letizia's jumpsuit and yeah... agree that it would have been a degree better as a dress, but what I don't like is her hairstyle. It's too lank and should have either teased to a beefier silhouette or in a chignon.
8:00 ish “I mean, I get it. It’s cold.” (Me, judging the outfits of myself and everyone around me in the Pacific Northwest.) Haha. Love you B! You are entitled to your opinion, so when you get comments that disagree, don’t feel discouraged, and remember that’s just everyone’s taste. We come here to hear your taste, and disagreeing is fine.
