I love you so much! It looks really good. Id love thosw trips you plan soooo much. Ive been onto royals andntheir historybsince i was a kid, literally lifelong royal nerd. Love the full history behind Britains royal history and struggles.
I noticed whenever it comes on to meg and harry your critiques goes so hard and hateful it is distasteful as a woman for you to be doing this I never hear you critique another royal so hard …. And it is her money she can do whatever she wants . Btw you need to let us see how you dress before you come on RU-vid being a fashion police cause you never wow me on any of your video honey.
I am sorry, but.... Is it really Württenburg? Tried to Google it, all I found was Württemberg. Which is a state in Germany. Also, a former royal family there. Even my spell check does not like Württenburg.
Princess Catherine’s Tiara was a little understated for the complete look. Princess Eugene’s emerald was perfect for her. Btw I heard M wanted to wear the same emerald tiara that Eugene wore. Sorry M, a loser.
I’m so glad your comments are truthful and honest❤ Messy M proved exactly how she is,,a mess!!! Very glad QII spoke up and stuck to her decision’s. The emerald Vladimir tiara,, well how on earth could M even mention wearing it. Proves her sense of childish entitlement . As time wears on M is mentally challenged. Ugh.
Imagine my surprise when I learned that the Dutch King and Queen are coming to my small little town in NY next Wednesday June 13. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever anticipate royalty would visit Albany, NY. One fun thing they are doing during their visit is to tour the Schuyler mansion and meet with students working on environmental issues. And yes ~ that Schuyler mansion ....the one mentioned the Broadway hit Hamilton. 💕🌸
Also, they have put back the tiara the kakashney that Megan wore because no one will touch that for a few generations. No one wants to be reminded. It was also so funny that she rode to the chapel in the car that the duchess of Wales wrote in when the Duke of Wales died. I thought that was rather hilarious. See the late Queen did had a wicked sense of humor and I just loved her for it
In the British royal family the queen has a collection that only the raining monarch can wear and then next step in line would be Princess. Catherine So now Haa a bigger choice and Catherine can wear those large tiaras let the Granville tiara with her heights, but Camilla snagged that one. Anyway. Camilla is only 5 ft tall. Princess Catherine is 5'10 and she can pull off those big tiaras like the honeycomb. But alas she'll have to wait on Camilla to walk off the stage so to speak
It's a beautiful diadem. But, I think it looks best on Queen Beatrix, because she has that "tiara hair" to support it. Maxima needs a big updo to wear it properly, in my opinion. Not that Maxima doesn't look good in it. I prefer her in the version without all of the pearls. Thank you so much @Royal Fashion News for making these great videos!
OMG Beatrice Borromea is just the most beautiful creature I have ever seen, she looks beautiful in anything, but especially Dior. Fergie - bless her heart, never manages to get it right, any dress seems to look pantomime on her. Duchess of Edinburgh - please stop with the new heavy victorian looking weird outfits, you usually look so lovely! That picture of Zara is awesome, she is so fab.
Love this tiara, I wish this was in the British collection. I am wondering if jewel robbers offer apprenticeships and if I am too old for a career change.
Zara took my breath away! Perfection! I think the Duchess of York's green dress looked rather pretty! She shape and fit was good on her, especially considering some of her choices in the past.
I missed Tiara Tuesday, because it got lost in all your other videos & I was sort of getting used to it being on Thursday. I am definitely not complaining about the number of videos though! You’re my favorite content creator!! The Crown Report was so awesome this week too! I didn’t comment, because I just watched it this morning! You’re so busy Brittany! You’re a hard girl to keep up with! You looked especially beautiful in this video & those earrings were stunning & matched your blouse or dress perfectly!! Your hair was so lovely too!! You were a vision! I hope you got to go somewhere fun! So much love from Oregon ♥️ Jessica. Oh! Forgot to say awesome video!! The Ornate Pearl or its real name (spelling?) is absolutely gorgeous!!! Love it!! Love pearls, but my TRUE birthstone is Golden Topaz. They say Citrine now & those are so yellow & not rich & golden like the golden topaz is! Sad they changed it for its cheapness!
Bless her. Sarah has really never had good fashion sense, although it is really nice to see she has the same figure as the majority of us, we aren't or can't all be svelts 😊
Rather WÜRTTEMBERG! Sorry. But I grew up in Friedrichshafen on the shores of Lake Constance (southwest Germany). Part of the main branch of the former royal family of Württemberg live there and I have known the late Duke Friedrich. Love from Winterthur (Switzerland), Peter
@12.06 IF Meghan Had been marrying The Heir! Or The Heir To The Heir, THEN, Because Eugenie Is The NIECE Of The Heir (at the time of wedding) THEN it is Lukely, That The BRIDE Of The HEIR (or Heir to the Heir) Would HAVE had Prefernce Before The Niece Of The Heir! But ONLY The Niece As The Daughter Of The SON Of The Current Monarch! The Niece, as the daughter of The SISTER , Who is Married OUT OF The Family - INTO her MARITAL Family - Would NOT Have That Option! HER Options Would Be FROM her FATHER'S Family OR Her HUSBAND'S Family Tiara!! Complex complications!!!
This is a lesson to those Met Gala celebrities. How to wear sheer & high design that fits like a 2nd skin & still be the most glamorous woman in the room. She always looks wonderful & rocks tiaras better than anyone. But this look….Amazing.
I love the tidbit about Beatrix having her wedding gown’s embroidery echo the design of the tiara. That could be a fun bunny trail - who else had that done? The one that comes instantly to mind is Lady Helen Windsor (now Taylor) had beading/embroidery on her wedding gown which matched her wedding tiara.
Württemberg, Brittany. And Stuttgart. Württemberg was an old dutchy and became a kingdom by Napoleon. The Ludwigsburg castle is huge and worth a visit. Baroque on the outside and empire on the inside.
Brittany; Great Content as always...I do however need to ask...are you by any chance of Dutch Extraction? Now; Please can I help you... as Wer tun berg is so wrong! Württenburg Is or was an independent and an important state... within... what's now called Germany. As such they speak German and in German the W sounds more like V in English, so a phenetic pronunciation would be Vert un berg...smiles. Hope this helps... Oh and it's pronounced... Stut Gard ... Not... Stew-gart. Always happy to help. Ohh and Don't you Just love how The Dutch Queen.. GIve's a "Thumbs up" to someone...as she turns to go inside ?
I really like the dangle earrings that Brittany is wearing. They are beautiful and look very, very nice on Brittany. Thanks for the video. It is greatly appreciated.
Back in the day (think Victorian/Edwardian times), many brooches of a larger size were often worn pinned to a dress quite centered just below the bust-line/decolletage, and therefore covered the stomach area. This was worn to an additionally ridiculous amount of other jewels, like necklaces, colliers, chokers, other brooches, and tiaras, of course, often for a simple thing like a normal family dinner (in royal circles). Queen Mary (Greatbritain) was known for her over-the-top dressing up fo dinner, and display of many pieces of jewellery, including huge brooches as "stomachers". Sometimes you will also hear it referred to as "devant de corsage".
Stomacher was the name for the placket in the center front bodice part of an 17th and 18th century dress. They were often highly decorated with embroidery, lace, ribbons and in some cases even pearls or gemstones. So when the fashion changed and and large brooches took the place of these fabric plackets, the name was taken over by the large brooches. As a jewelry piece a stomacher is a large brooch often with one or more pendant’s dangling from the central piece. A stomacher can also be called a Devant de corsage.
@@jonasviking9768 No worries. Thanks for the additional reference to the clothing piece (part of the bodice) in the earlier centuries! I forgot to mention that, just focussed on the jewellery.
It is called WÜRTTEMBERG (with a m in the middle)! And -BERG at the end, not -burg. Please correct the little mistakes. I‘m from Stuttgart, which was the capitol of the kingdom of Württemberg, which is in the southwest of Germany and I didn‘t know that the Dutch have a tiara with that name. Interesting! 😊
Not born in June but pearls are my absolute favourites. This tiara is breathtaking - especially the smaller settings. And seeing it paired with that fabulous brooch ... just picture perfect. Thank you for another interesting video, we need a bit of beauty and bling once in a while :)
