In this video I make techno music on "just" one box - Ableton Push 2. Of course it was connected to Ableton Live 11, but I have not looked at the computer screen during this jam and performance. I count it as a Dawless Techno Jam! To bring some limitations I used Push as an Elektron Digitakt - 8 sample tracks, 2 effects and a master bus.
In this video you will find a lot tips and tricks on how to make Techno Music on Push 2. Including Ableton Push 2 Performance playing 2 techno tracks made from scratch. You will also find Ableton Push 2 Sampler or Simpler tips and tricks. Or answer to a question "How to make Ableton Push 2 Melodic Techno?". Or maybe how to play Push 2 Dawless!
Ableton Push 2 Workflow requires some time to learn, but it works well for the Techno Workflow. Comfortable to jam and also create final tracks at the end.
I ended up creating and recording 2 different melodic techno tracks at 132 bpm and they are good enough to share. Also I did some post processing of the final tracks in Ableton with Analog Heat and iZotope Ozone 9.
Both tracks are made with samples from Melodic Minimal Techno sample pack from 5Pin Media.
