► Hello everyone and welcome back to another episode with beauties from the past, brought to life using colorizations and facial animations. The photography of the 19th or early 20th century was greatly underdeveloped technology but despite this, beautiful and iconic women of that era managed to shine through in a very poignant way. Using technology of today we are going to try and bring to life few selected 19th century beauties from the bygone times. Enjoy!
Please check the video to see beauties of the past (1800s, 1900s) come to life using colorization and artificial intelligence tools.

It is the knowing that with all of their beauty they are dead today. The sadness of knowing you never got to see them how they were. It is amazing to see the dead in a way looking right at you and just you! The human feeling of warmth and sadness for the loss of someone. Amazing how we are!

I guess it is true that you often take the good with the bad of any age in which you live on this Earth. I look at these beautiful photos and paintings and realize that while we might look at the hardships we would have had to experience if we lived in their time, we forget that they did not know the difference so it was excepted.They just lived on ,and made the best of their situations ,not understanding what they lacked could be so much better. Then you ask yourself"what is better?" I say this because it was the uniqueness of their times that brought out this beauty in which we witness in these pieces of art and photos.

The Gish sisters were lifelong friends with Mary Pickford ( and each had formidable Mothers) they all roomed together to save expenses at one time. Mary got the Gishes their movie career starts, previously they were all on the stage. Would love to see the silent movie stars.

Greatest compliment I ever received was when, at the age of 22 in '82 and feeling quite plain having grown up in the shadow of a Farrah Fawcett lookalike sister was told I had an "old- fashioned beauty reminiscent of Maude Adams". I feel like I would’ve been considered much more attractive back in those days. I don’t have the Instagram baddie look, at all. My jawline isn’t sharp, my brows aren’t high, my cheekbones aren’t high and my lips are real. It’s a sad thing that Instagram beauty is seemingly the only type of beauty appreciated today. 😭

Too many of the pictures of this period are deliberately taken without the subject smiling (for practical reasons), but there are enough pics of Maude actually smiling where you notice the difference. it just feels more contemporary when they're smiling. More like they're alive and breathing.

I would also have included the beautiful Italian actress Lina Cavalieri. Anyway, great job, as always! One thing I noticed about these 19th century-early 20th century beauties is that they (usually) have fairly small mouths - unlike what we consider beautiful today. Angelina Jolie lips or Sofia Vergara mouths are not prevalent - these ladies have small, delicate features and large eyes. It's very interesting... Anyway, I've subscribed!
