I was in Israel this past summer and the summer before, and praying at the Kotel was incredible. I wish I could be there for selichot! My friend had the zekhut to be there for Tisha be'Av two years ago.

Anybody can go. It just so happens that lots of Jews show up to pray on Jewish holidays, which is what this video shows. (NonJews can come when there are Jewish holidays, too, but they will be outnumbered, & probably, bored. It would also be polite to follow Jewish ritual practices if you show up for big events; like wearing a head covering & not being half naked.)

The only exclusivity in praying anywhere in Israel is the Muslim ban on Jews going to pray in Temple Mount, & religious Israelis are challenging that ban even now as we speak, since the Al Aqsa Mosque is built upon the holiest site in all of Judaism: the location where the original Ark was held in the original tabernacle built by the Jews, after Moses' death, when they first entered the land, 3,500 years ago.

I really like videos like this that kinda take a step back to just show Am Israel coming together with God for prayer and reflection. That’s what’s great about this channel, you got heavy subject, light hearted, hunger inducing, and religious/spiritual videos. every day during elul for mizrachim/sephardim what happens when ashkenazim start the sunday morning before rosh hashana btw, i believe that mohammed got ramadan from the selichot period during this period, many pius jewish men took upon themselves personal fast from dawn to dusk as fasting helps with teshuva

Only Judah and Levi still exists, Kohanim(descendants of Aaron) still exists also. The rest are well, hard to say. But today everyone's who not a Kohen or a Levite is grouped as "Yisrael"

FWIW, West Point & other military schools in the US don't bother studying several Israeli wars & battles because they deem them "miracles," & you can't copy a miracle. This classification applies to all of the War of Independence in 1948, & to a few other wars, & to many battles. What other people have a book that accurately predicted two expulsions & two returns to their land. (The predictions are in Torah. See Rabbi Tovia Singer for more.) So. Is G-d listening?
