Thank you so much! Cats see between 70 and 80 hz (that is, 70 and 80 frames per second) while most RU-vid videos are 30 frames per second. So I can set this on 2.5x speed to let my kitty watch it! Incredible that you made this without even intending that use. She stepped on my keyboard and stopped the video, and by the time I fixed that, she wouldn't look at the screen again - but for a moment she was captivated. The reason she stepped on the keyboard was to try to touch the bird/window! so cool!
It's funny how birds can't flick their eyes around rapidly like we can, so instead their entire heads flick around. It looks very different when slowed down like this.
Its so enjoyable to see these fast moving creatures slowed down to see the detail of the movements. You must be using a good camera for such clear images in slow motion. Must have taken a long time to upload the big file. Your work inspires me! Thanks for posting all these great videos!
FrontYardVideo Thank you very much. Yes the rendering and uploading takes quite some time. I filmed this with a Panasonic HC-V750 Camcorder by the way. Thanks again ~ Paul
I'll add my salutations and thanks for your efforts to provide we viewers such enjoyable and attentive imagery of the beautiful world of nature. I hope your work also stirs awareness of our responsibilities as stewards of our environment.
Intense moments at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vi0G9OgwCys.html and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vi0G9OgwCys.html, I was on the edge of my seat. Great footage!
