Nice video...just out of curiosity, why do you need to keep your hand on the gear handle? Aren't you confirming that the gear is down and locked with three green on the Landing Checklist??

It’s just another check to ensure you don’t forget to check three greens. If it’s a busy approach it can be easy to swing the lever, move on to another task, and forget to check the lights. This way I can mentally move on while the gear is in transition, but I physically have my hand there so I don’t forget to come back to it.

I just joined your channel and this is the first video I watched. I grew up in New Paris. I never seen people flying out of Goshen in there videos but I haven't been around the area last 20 years except visiting family back not going around Goshen.

Very nice, mate. Bit treacherous on the taxiways in Goshen there with all the ice and snow. I assume it's par for the course in Indiana in the winter though!

Ran across your channel a few weeks ago. Instant Like and Subscribe. Haven't been disappointed. This one's a gem; scenery, cockpit activity, wonderful capture of the avionics in action, split screens... it's got it all. Makes me long for what could have been.
