The XJ deserves a place in Auto history hall of fame... Nothing comes close to the design of this thing, in terms of its original concept. It's an awesome vehicle. I'm on my 4 th and this one is keeper.😊
XJs with the pearl colors are the nicest. I have an Amber Fire pearl xj. It's absolutely mesmerizing in the light. This color, the amber fire and the citron from 97 are the three best colors for XJs.
I'm a little youtube channel jeepNdirt and recently posted a video like this on my dads immaculate TJ build and it's crazy how we (jeepers) truly love our old school jeeps. I've been a YJ guy for 26 years and have always had a little thing for XJ's but never had an opportunity (yet) to own / build one. I added a 2018 built JLUR (as seen on my channel) to my jeep family and figured out after I bought it that when I look at it from the side that it resembles an XJ especially the JL's with hard tops. I love that XJ and every other jeep wrangler feel that they designed into the JL's, but seeing your work here really makes me want and XJ as part of my bucket list builds. Thanks for sharing these videos. This particular jeep shown is absolutely incredible.
I've owned three XJs and now I consider myself a full siez jeep guy. This jeep makes me want to sell both of my wagoneers and get another XJ andd start over. Also, Im about 20 seconds into the video
Damn! Every time I look around somebody raises the bar a notch! I have to admit, other than the tail lights and the roof rack this is the perfect XJ. I dont think there will be a better one, except if there is one just built like this but with a V8 swap
Pros and cons! Flush mounted limits you to a tiny screen and requires cutting the dash/HVAC. This style allows a nice big screen and no hacking up the dash. I’ve done plenty of both and don’t necessarily have a favorite, but either is better than the basic style option in my opinion!
