Madison + Nick were married at The Mackey House in Savannah Georgia on a beautiful, sunny day in October. We have been to Savannah a few times, and had even seen videos and photos from The Mackey House; but never once thought about the true beauty hidden in every corner of the venue. The Mackey House is a Colonial mansion on 440 acres of farm land, with antique decor, lush gardens, a lakeside view, a deck that overlooks the entire venue, and timeless beauty. The crowned jewel to this video is the beautiful couple, Madison + Nick, who honestly don't have a bad side. Every smile, every kiss, and every moment was full of so much passion. Even when Madison ices Nick on the dance floor, she watches him with so much love and amazement. Icing (hiding a Smirnoff Ice and surprising someone with it when they are least expecting it) is becoming one of our favorite party tricks; but this time it was so fitting for the couple. It was a perfect embodiment of Nick + Madison's relationship - spontaneous, joyful, sweet, and fun. The friends and family cheered as Nick took it with grace, but the real beauty was in the smile that was on Madison's face as she pulled the perfect prank on her new husband!
The rest of the night was full of laughter, dancing, and flaming, Jack Daniels donuts (one of the best things we've ever seen or tasted)!
Thank you for inviting us to be a part of your wedding day, and especially for feeding us all of the wonderful food! We enjoyed partying and dancing with your friends and family, and loved all of the stories shared throughout the day. We know you two will have a beautiful and exciting marriage, and we hope for many spontaneous and adventurous moments in your life together.
