Omg, I got the ruler and have always wanted to use for a table topper. You made it look so easy. Now to find a repeating border print like you used for my spring table.
Brilliant! those border stripes can be tricky to know how to get the best use out of them. Love Krista Moser designs. This topper has a real wow factor
Good morning Laura Ann, this material is gorgeous flower and has made a stunning centre piece for a wee side table or lamp table. I love how it looks so much more difficult than it actually was to make. I have seen a few things made with border material and it is just magic at work, seeing all the different patterns that can come from just cutting at a different point. Thank you for sharing your lovely make with us, sending crafty hugs from Norah, Glenochil Village, Scotland
That is absolutely gorgeous! I have made a few things with this ruler I love it!. And I'm amazed at the difference the fabric makes. I will be looking at large scale prints differently now. Thank you so much!
I have both rulers and a lot of Kris' patterns. They become addictive once you realise....... I CAN DO THIS!!! I love your take on the pattern, your eye for design is outstanding.
That turned our fabulous. I have been wanting that larger ruler for some time. You selected a modern, vibrant fabric & did a beautiful job sewing it, matching it & selecting the yellow to blend into it. I need work on fabric selection, but could confidently do the sewing part. Did you buy the fabric knowing it would work or had it in your stash? Thx & 👍
I just love your videos! You make everything look “so very easy”! Your table topper is gorgeous and what a great way to use border prints! Thank you for the inspiration! I also want to thank you for your video on the BOM from Cotton Cuts! I’m doing the Christmas large quilt and am loving it! Happy Friday!
Great information. I sometimes purchase a ruler, only to later forget how to use it! I have one of these triangular rulers, so this video is perfect for me.🙂
I love the table topper. I did purchase the fabrics. The only question I have is, how wide did you cut the gold strips and the accent paisley strip. I am fairly new to quilting
Wouldn't that topper be gorgeous as the center of a quilt? I'm going to make the topper first then hunt for a pattern to utilize it in a quilt. Anyone got any ideas on a quilt pattern? Thank you for your work. I love your videos. So many suggestions on so many wow fabrics!
