Laura: Omgoodness 👏👏👏 I’ve never done those triangles, but you explained it in a fantastic way! I could understand😜🤔 Thank you and those fabrics are gorgeous❤️😀
Thank you after packing my unfinished quilt every year since 1999 hoping to finish and that set in corner was my Achilles heel I just might be able to finish it this year 2024 with many many reviews of your excellent tutorial thank you
I love the fact you only used four different fabrics. Would you consider sharing the mini size one you demonstrated dimensions and sizes of pieces cut. Thankyou Laura
For side setting triangles, I like to use an even larger square cut diagonally into four triangles so all my outer edges are straight grain. I cut the corner triangles two from a square as you show so, again, all the outer edges are straight grain. This gives much less stretchy outer edges to sew borders onto.
Since you need 4 triangles (for the setting triangles on the sides) use a bigger square and cut on each diagonal. That way you get 4 pieces and don't have to worry about bias edges.
Hi Laura, that yellow and black fabric is so beautiful, they go together so good, I saw it when you had your live show. I just wanted to ask you where did you buy it at. Love your videos.
A very helpful tutorial indeed. I would also like to know the mini block sizes you created for this tutorial and the finished size of the big quilt block?
