ive been learning piano for a few years now and i can say im pretty good at it, but im so sick of it. i want to learn to play guitar sm but im afraid that i wont have enough time to learn it and ill probably ditch it because of all my extracurriculars (piano, tennis, swimming, art, dance, and multiple competitions). my parents made me start at a young age and i can say that im thankful for their dedication but i just cant stand piano in particular anymore. ive actually wanted to learn guitar since forever but i never got the chance. i love the instrument but im not sure if i can even have one because of my parents. what should i do? should i stick to piano or should i start guitar while sticking to piano? (there’s definitely no way im getting away from piano lmao)
I'm 13 and I started on piano until I wad ab 10 ish and my brother bought a second had electric drum kit I self taught blah blah blah and then I got to secondary and then got lessons I'm now I would say a rilly good jazz drumer but ab 3 months ago (I was lucky that my dad has a guitar, and a verry good one bc he is a music geek) but I was seeing vidos like this and rilly wanted to play and hear I am now learning amazing songs a d learning base guitar aswell, now I think the best thing to do whitch is what I did is say to them, I think piano is amazing, but I just don't rilly think it's my thing and I've been looking for a wile and I believe I would like to try guitar out after, now remember you can't get something whith out asking (ik how hard it is) you can always try sm guitar in school I'm shure, and when you think it's right go ask for one, do make shure you get a, atlest medeokia guitar bc shit ones will prob make you wanna stop, bit it does not ha e to be to expensive a £100 would do you just fine and make shure it's not to big!...Good luck (I am dyslexic so sm of this may not make scence)
Hey i was the same too i have been learning piano since I was 7 and its been a good few years. So I decided to switch to guitar ( I was also scared to switch) But it was 100% worth it and its soooo fun.
Anyone Notice how the girl in the second one was faking? She was turned away from the camera and during the parts where it went higher and lower she wasn't on time with the music- Like Dude if your gonna fake it at least do a good job at it-
A dose of nostalgia may have them change their minds. Show them some classic 80's and 70's disco funk. In fact, show them this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fLgN-jPusRQ.html
Strat is more complete, i wanted ti buy a tele buy when i tried the strat at the guitar store i fell in love with that. You should try both but I prefer a stratocaster
Just get the one you like the look of more. Most of the tone is in the fingers anyways. Just keep in mind that tele's tends to have a bit of a thicker neck than strats.
