What about Be More Chill? I think you'd like it, and right now there's an amazing animatic animator who is trying to do the entire musical. So far she's only got the scene where the squip enters and a full Upgrade animatic, but they are amazing quality!

If you like this, you should really watch all of MissyAsylum's Heathers animatics. They're so well done and very stylized. Packed with symbolism, surreal imagery, beautiful and cute character designs.
