"Miraculous World: London - At the Edge of Time"
Summary: To save the future, Marinette, now Chronobug, must team up with Bunnyx to solve the mystery of who discovered Ladybug's secret identity. Because this person also managed to get hold of the Ladybug Miraculous, and all those in the Miracle Box. During their adventures, the heroines learn that the thief who discovered the ultimate secret is also the new bearer of the Butterfly Miraculous. Marinette's only hope is to succeed in finding this adversary who is hiding somewhere in time. Otherwise, it will be the end of Ladybug.

Imo she's still kinda "dumb" but since season 4/5 she got SUCH a character development, she went from a weird stalker to an actual superhero that can always save the day although she's a teenager and also has normal problems like everyone else. This movie showed a way more mature and clever side of her than I expected, and although it was infuriating I can understand now why she did what she did

Please tell me I wasn't the only one who was SHOCKED when Lila or whatever said "Gabriel Agreste is dead"? Like, I'm pretty PRETTY sure that was the first time ever they explicitly said someone was dead. I know Adrien said it explicitly that his mom was dead before even when everyone else kept saying that Emilie just disappeared, but he never really said the word "dead". Also, her voice actor NAILED that part, she sounded so brutal saying all those dark-like things in what was supposed to be a kids show?? Anyways, best miraculous movie.

Seeing Marinettes moral dilemma, with her so dead inside was so heartbreaking. I havea whole new respect for her. Also, not gonna lie, lila is really tough. Amd insane! Her first attack and she ALMOST destroyed the entire universe. Ladybug and cat noir have to work SOO hard in order to even defeat the villains next season.

Agreed! I feel that Marinette and Lila are similarly matched, it’s going to be very interesting to see how they battle in Season 6. Lila is clever and much more sneaky, but I hope Adrien gets more time next season. That boy needs his trauma moments now lol Also thank you as always~

I like how the writers made this be serious & how we were able to understand some things better. I know it’s a lot for Marinette to handle. I’m glad they made Ladybug use more of her body when fighting. The yellow color was a grower on me & like it. I can so see Adrien/Chat getting into his villain arc in the future

Lila/Cerise/Iris wish was definitely to delete Marinette from existence. The original title of the special was "The End of Ladybug". There was that episode where she was cutting Marinette out of a bunch of pictures, so I think that was a teaser to her wish, and how she probably wants to replace Marinette not only as Ladybug but as a person in general

@@ephemeral2925 You're assuming she deleted the present Marinette. If she wished Marinette never existed the timeline would have to be rewritten. They said in the special, the reason the burrows were disappearing was because the wish changed something so big that the whole timeline was erased. And I'm pretty sure wishing Ladybug was never born would completely change the world.

This was an extremely strong episode/special for Marinette. Seeing her so dead inside but she keeps fighting was amazing. Her being in a moral dilemma the entire special and still doesn’t know if she made the right choice at the end was incredible and I can’t wait to see how that plays out in season 6. I was coming into this special thinking I would feel so bad for Adrien (and I do, tremendously) but Marinette…I wasn’t expecting this for her. The writers did an amazing job.

This special was so emotional. Seeing Bug Noir/Marinette so broken down made me feel so bad for her. While I'm still iffy about the decision to make Chat Noir not part of the final, I do kinda get why Marinette wouldn't tell the truth...She doesn't know either. She want's so badly to be honest, but know's that either way will hurt Adrien. And Adrien's breakdown was sad to see, the voice acting was really good. I do think the special was a good setup for S6.

It's implied at the time jump of season 5 finale that Marinette eventually told Alya the truth about Gabriel being Monarch. She is showed talking with her and Su-Han about not finding the Butterfly Miraculous at the basement. I think she just couldn't tell Alya at that moment because... well, because of everything. Not to mention that, even if Nathalie and Kagami know the truth, Alya is the one that is the closest to Marinette, the one she trusts the most.

To be fair, it makes sense for Marinette not to tell Alya. Sure, they're best friends, but if she told her, why not tell Cat Noir? I know he's Adrien and she doesn't know she'd be telling Adrien if she tells it to Cat, but either tell everyone important without picking who you'll tell, or don't tell at all. It will be hard for Marinette to keep this secret, but since she feels obligated to, she doesn't wanna tell anyone. It also makes sense from a writers perspective

I mean, Felix would not need to "deduce" the truth, he was the first who found out about Monarchs/Shadow Moths identity in season 4. And he was the reason Marinette knows, so he is the one who actually knows more than anyone else (besides Bunnix and Kagami)

Just to clarify... one of the main reasons people thought Emilie was back at the end of Season 5 was because that apparently IS what was planned at some point according to the Megaleak we got before Season 5 (I'm almost sure even the 3D model of Felix's mom from the last scene has actually the name of *Emilie_something*)

My god, that empty stare speaks volumes about Marinette's mental state throughout the special. She knows as well as we do that she made the wrong decision lying to Adrien. She hasn't convinced herself that she did the right thing. She isn't even doubting herself. This is the stare of someone who did something bad and knows it. Someone with immense guilt and regret over their misdeed yet still goes through with it because they feel it's the least bad outcome (not the best, just the least bad). Rightfully so, of course. While I love Mari, I very much disagree with her decision. That said, I can see why a teenage girl in a bad mental state would make such a (to us more experienced adults) stupid decision. As Kagami said, she is blinded by love. Plus, again, her mental state is not exactly a good one and hasn't been since Season 4. I'm just curious how things will play out in the future. This show sure knows how to hook me for future seasons... 'Cause make no mistake: Even though it came from a place of love, this WILL come back to bite her later on (again, rightfully so). Especially with someone like Lila as the main villain.

Very happy that this special tied up some loose ends for Season 6. I know that it couldn't be shown because of time constraints, but watching Adrien break down crying over his dad's "sacrifice" felt way more emotional to me than...suddenly transitioning to him being happy at a pool party, like he didn't just lose his last living parent a month ago. And I respect how Nathalie was willing to pay for her crimes, even if she was talked out of it. And I wasn't sure how Cerise would be as a villain, but if this is the kind of stuff she can come up with, I'm actually excited to see how she works! Where was this kind of good writing when it came to her lies?! And that final scene where Ladybug and Chat Noir hug made me emotional! They both need lots of hugs and therapy!

Never thought of that, but it's true! Marinette will probably be guardian for most, if not the entire show though. I doubt they'll make her forget everything on the show at this point, unless she's forced into a position to announce a new guardian. I could see her giving up Ladybug to someone else, but since shes the mc it is doubtful except in temporary circumstances where Alya steps up.

when Alex said they finally kissed it almost felt like she was one of the viewers - that gave me a good chuckle. I think Lila's wish is just for everything to revolve around her and only her. She seems to be that type of narcissist. The main reason she despises Marinette/Lady Bug is they refuse to be fooled by her act, and in her mind that's the one thing that absolutely cannot stand.

All Lila, or whatever her name is, wants is to have power, to feel like she's better than everyone else. So, she lies to get what she wants but never really gets it. The only thing we don't know is why. It's a kids' show, but really, the storyline is just sad and very emotional. This episode really proved it. But the fact of all these emotional events are happening so fast, just makes this series even better.

I really hope Marinette faces the consequences of all this lying, but I don't think it will happen, it feels like Thomas is making it look like the correct decision. It's so wrong, Adrien doesn't have autonomy for knowing anything ever, and Marinette sees him like a glass boy that won't handle the truth? People keep underestimating him in facing the grief that this would cause. And this caused leaving Tomoe free, like, she is a terr*rist, but "people can change"? All this can be accepted in the story if they deal with this like it should in the future.

I saw it yesterday! The action was fun, the animation is good and the music too; the villains had cool design BUT one thing bothered me. Marinette lies to Adrien AGAIN! If she told him everything about Monarch, yes he would be sad but with time understood that she tried to save him. The truth hurts but being lied to by your girlfriend hurts more! I'm sure Adrien will be so angry that she hide the truth from him twice then is turned into Chat blanc by lila. Good job Marinette :(

This was so awesoooooooome D: I love how big this show is and so glad it's still ongoing XD I don't know if that was Lila that was using the Butterfly Miraculous. Something appeared behind her at the end of the S5 finale and she was definitely surprised, and Marinette made her leave before she had a chance to pick up the Butterfly Miraculous, so I'm thinking Lila took it, then the sneakster stole it from Lila. 30:50 - He did transform into Ladybug at one point, remember? "Miraculous Monarchbug!"
