@@salaspawspa I totally agree she’s getting a little old she’s really beautiful still though I followed you on TickTock and yes I love your channel and I can’t wait
I love how she doesn't flinch at all. Although, if she could talk, I'm sure she'd have a th8ng or two to say to you about showing her tush to the world
Great content, well done. My Service Dog, Winnie, a Golden Retriever, loves watching your videos. She even brings a toy to offer to whatever dog you are working on. Winnie is amazing. She even lets me vacuum her and loves being groomed.
Ruby is such a good girl! My favorite part was learning more about the double coat. My mini aussie has it as well, so it's always good to have professional info about it.
My chocolate lab is also named Ruby!! One of my favorite parts of the video is how well behaved Ruby is given the fact that she’s a husky mix. I’m a groomer as well and usually huskies scream or vocalize like crazy during baths/blow drying🤣😭. My other favorite part was your informative and detailed description about grooming a double-coated dog. Most people don’t realize how much work goes into grooming a dog with an undercoat, and I think you explained everything really well! Thanks for sharing some of the behind-the-scenes of being a groomer. Your videos always make my day and I can totally relate to them! It’s a tough job, but totally worth it if you’re an animal person. It’s evident that you love what you do! ❤️
I've been watching your videos for months! You're one of the best groomers I've seen! You're dog is so beautiful by the way! Very well behaved! My favorite part of this video is when you break down each step and explain exactly what you're doing! So informative🥰
just saw your recent TikTok ,, loved Phoebe btw. But my fav part of this video is when you were trimming her paw pads. I tried doing this myself and it didn't rlly work out well. You did it so professionally and you're very inspirational 👏🏾
Do short hair dogs also need to be groomed regularly? I have a bluetick/treeing walker coonhound mix and she is an outside dog. I bathe her only if she gets particularly filthy or if she comes to stay at my moms house, where she spends time inside. I also cut her nails monthly. Is there anything else I should be doing for her? I love your channel so much, your skill and interaction with the dogs you groom is admirable! Thank you!
Im happy your enjoying my content! I love what I do and love sharing it with you all!! All dogs should get bathed at least every 8-12weeks. The dirt and dander build up on their skin can cause irritation. also, if you notice she scoots her rear end on the ground or excessively licks her rear she may need her anal glands expressed.
My one dog’s name is Riley and she’s a Labrador/Redbone Coonhound mix, and my other pup is Snickers and an unknown breed! She literally looks like a miniature German Shepherd ❤️
Could be a Belgian Shepard. They look jut like their German counter parts, but are naturally smaller. I used to have one as a kid that thought she was a horse and always forced me, and only me, on her back and walk around. She was a weird dog.
I have a Great Pyrenees and all that shedding is overwhelming. I love her and couldn't live without her. Do you have a GP that you can post grooming for??
The part about shaving a double coated dog hit me in my stomach...sadly my dog's first grooming left her almost 100% bald as the groomer for some reason thought I wanted to completely shave her when actually I said "just make it a little shorter". She never said how bad shaving is so I assume she had no knowledge on double coated dogs (and neighter did I at that time, I was shocked as to why her fur is wooly after the shave) I somehow tought that a groomer is supposed to ask me more questions about what I want but no.She said ok and I assumed she knew what she was doing(somehow expecting her to do what you do) and 2 hours later out came my shaved dog. Her fur never grew back the same and it took a painfull amount of months for it to even grow back. And now she is shedding like a maniac but I'm too scared to take her to a groomer again🤣 I'm scared that we'll have another missunderstading and I'll get a naked dog again.
We had a really hard time finding a trustworthy groomer for our pups. Went through alot of them and finally found one that we have to drive a little ways to but it's worth it.
That happened with our labradoodle, but we had to shave it that short because his puppy fur got tangled and matted with his adult coat. They left his ears and tail the same, so he looked so funny
My favorite part is the butt fluffy shaving because I myself have one full blooded husky and one wolf mix and man oh man the butt fluffies get crazy long haha
Nobody: Me the entire video: “I hope she took out the cotton balls, i can’t imagine having cotton balls so deep in my ear” 😂😂😂😂but seriously I really hope she did
Do you ever groom short hair dogs? Since I’ve started watching your videos, I want to take my dogs to get groomed! They are pit mixes and shed terribly
I just stumbled upon your videos while researching this exact dog breed. Lol. My husband and I started off with a pack of five when we combined our fur-families and moved in together. However, over our 10-year relationship we have lost all but one of those dogs. It's very sad and bittersweet. We miss all of our babies but we are finally ready to get our first puppy together. It will also be our 7 and 8-year-old daughters' first puppy as well. Our friend reached out to us and informed us that their Husky and Pyrenees dogs "accidentally" got pregnant together, they are going to be having 5 to 6 puppies soon! We have been pup shopping for a while and know we want what I call a BFD, a Big F*ckin Dog. Lol. Plus, my husband specifically requested a male. Between me, our two girls, and both a female cat and dog, more testosterone in the home is needed. 😂😂😂 These puppies could be exactly what we're looking for though! So I've been researching the breed for the last several hours and I was very glad to come upon this video. Lots of great insight and tips, whether for current double-coated pet owners or aspiring ones. Lol. That being said, I am curious as to how often you go through this process with Ruby? I'm not sure how much professional grooming costs, but odds are I would be doing it myself to save money. Also, you have such a beautiful, well-tempered baby girl there! ❤️❤️❤️ She was so calm and accepting of the whole ordeal. Lol.
Wow, what a mix! What kind of non-grooming personality does she have? Pyrenees are rather lazy and Huskies are so high energy. Also, both are headstrong(in different ways), Pyrenees are great barkers and Huskies... are well Huskies! A Husky Pyrenees mix could be the loudest and goofiest dog ever!
The coat doesn't know whether it has been shaved. It cannot "not grow back right". You still shouldn't shave them, but the coat will grow back fine - because it's constantly growing back fine.
