The Colorado Model Railroad Museum is one of the finest miniature accomplishments in the world. This 5,500 sq. feet masterpiece located at 680 10th Street in Greeley, Colorado, this one-of-a-kind museum has hundreds of railroad scenes, more than 500 scale locomotives, 80 scale miles of train track, thousands of other handmade artifacts including around 28,000 handmade trees.

I went to Greeley with my adult son about 5-6 years ago. I've never seen anything like it before! You can get totally immersed in the multi-level layout that is HUGE! The modeling is top-notch and is an inspiration for the train modeler!! They have a full-size Burlington caboose and a signal when UP trains are passing through town! I highly recommend it !!

For I have seen the old and I have the new. I was born before the last 2 states were added to this country. My grand parents came here before the start of 1st world war. For this vid has brought back many memories for me and I know things of yester year was better of what I see today. Great vid my friends, Old Master Gunnery SGT USMC. I frequent this museum every once in a while, it's unbelievably incredible. The detailing is spot on, and they operate it like a real railroad, they have a dispatcher and everything, they have legit traffic control on the layout too.

I like model railroads that show a huge landscape with little trains running thru them. It takes a lot of space to accomplish this even with cleverly painted backdrops.

No doubt that is a fantastic layout. So many details, dramatism in each corner of the scenery. It´s like being there at the epoch. However, my thumbs up are not for such a great museum, that worths visit it, they are for a wonderful video, one of the best I´ve seen in the web. A beauty is a beauty, but man, the eye of the artist through which we see it is amazing!

Beautiful layout with excellent detailing. But I've never seen a passenger train that long in real life as shown in the opening scene. Maybe the trains in the steam days were that long. Thanks for a great video.

This is an excellent layout the details are great, it almost looks like the real thing. Hard to pick which is better but I like the camping sight on the mountain side the bridges and tunnels. Well done on the set-up. I really like the town surrounding the train set-up
