I think its fair to say that mark martins 2009 run was nothing short of dominating, especially once he got on the roll of winning, he won 5 races and made it to 2nd in championship behind jimmie......I'd say that was more memorable then what Kahne did in the years after Mark....

@@BRadracer21 Yeah technically, the only ones they are missing are the ones that were added because of the pandemic. The ones that were on the original schedule are all there.
Hendrick as a whole is going to be a crazy solid team. If your weakest driver out of 4 is still winning races and making the playoffs, that is a huge statement. All the hendrick drivers will have winning ability every week.
I believe Alex Bowman may be the most slept on driver in the series. 88 doesn’t have as many wins as Chase but arguably is more consistent. When he’s on, damn is he ON.

Mr H said on the dale jr download that he can run dirt if he wants to he just have to attend all meetings and that stuff and he also said if he hurts himself that’s his fault too and apparently chase has a dirt late model schedule alright to go for next year as well

The 4 Hendrick drivers for 2021 all have very different backgrounds. William Byron "WhO's RaCiNg CaReEr StArTeD oN a CoMpUtEr!!!". Alex Bowman who has literally thrown everything to claw his way into a good car. Chase Elliott son of Nascar Legend and always an inevitable cup driver. And Kyle Larson a transcendent dirt racer (which personally i find to be the hardest form of 4 wheel vehicle racing).
@@runrafarunthebestintheworld I have been following the Hendrick Motorsports team for at least two decades now and i have seen growth in that organization since Jeff Gordon retired. I think Jeff Gordon maybe the reason why he wanted him in the first place.

Eh, mark won 5 races in one season, vs Kahne winning 5 in 5 years, id say the 5 car under Mark was far more impressive, both wins and championship standings.....plus everyone loved seeing old mark winning and running up front.....
Heck it hasn’t even been a decade since Hendrick was dominating. 2014 Gordon, dale and Jimmie had 4+ wins and Kasey kahne had a win. 2015 Gordon made it to the championship 4 with a win and dale jr and Jimmie winning multiple races and then 2016 Jimmie winning the title. They weren’t as dominant as they were, but still pretty dang good to say
Larson is allowed to run dirt as long as they don't interfere with any mandatory meetings, appearances, races, sensitivity training, etc. Less dirt races for sure, but can still run some!!
@@joshuapittman4663 Bubba got sponsors like CashApp and DoorDash because he went on a tour of victimhood on talk shows. I predict Larsons apology tour will get him good publicity in the same way and companies will invest in him. I’m happy that both are in better rides :)
I get it, but I wouldn’t compare Bubba’s situation to Larson’s. It can come off as insensitive. Being black, I forgave Larson a long time ago. People make mistakes and there are a lot of TRULY racist individuals out here that use that word maliciously, I don’t think he is one of them. I’m glad he has a 2nd chance with my favorite team. And I agree with you, I never thought for a minute he was racist. He just said something, and imo, is a very common thing I've heard people say to each other, and it's not right to say that as I have raised and taught my children that is not a nice thing to say as it may or will hurt other people's feelings no matter if you hear others saying it or hearing it in a song. Kyle stepped up, admitted he was wrong and has taken the steps to better himself. Can't wait for next season and see what he can do in some top tier equipment.
By the way I met rick Hendrick and he said my rainbow warrior hat was cool so yeah rick Hendrick is the coolest guy in the world and if you want to know richmond fall race 2013 is when I met him

Secretly, I've been hoping Larson and Chase would team up. They just seem to love to race together. But, the 5...yes, yes, yes, he deserves it. Least you all forget who had the 5 first, Terry "Ice Man" Labonte. Drove the hell out of that "corny" car. Curious to see who the sponsors are. Congrats to Larson, home town boy(35 miles from my town) makes good.
I think bowman and Byron have crazy potential. Bowman made it to the round of eight and Byron just got his first win. Don’t count them out. We could have a team of great drivers in a few years.
