This is the old-style coffee making and the origin of such was Chinese Tae Chiew coffee shops widely available from 100 years ago until about 40 years ago when the older generations died off and the children don't want to take over their father's business. In those days, there were 2 newspapers available for customers to read free while drinking coffee: local Chinese paper and Thai Rath. I supplemented my learning in school by reading Thai Rath free at neighbouring Tae Chiew coffee shop when there was no customer. My father was regular customer every morning, drinking coffee and read Chinese newspaper. That was about 60 years ago. I am now 70.
Tried her drink a few days ago. Very busy as always especially during lunch time office hours. Good and very cheap price but I’m not a huge fan when they put so much ice into your drink
