We love Tansy! I think you had it on another list a while back and I mentioned it to my husband (who is often less daring with names) and he thinks it’s amazing. It’s unique but feels easy to say and intuitive to spell.

I have a friend Evangeline, who goes by Eve or Eva for short, and I can honestly say she is the loveliest, most talented and witty human I've probably ever met so I have nothing but love for that name!x
My daughter is named Evangeline because of the movie The Princess and the Frog. That’s so funny you mentioned it. My husband would sing that song “ma belle Evangeline” to our older two daughters and he’s also from Louisiana so we thought for our third it was the perfect name. And of course he sings that song to her too.
I'd love to see Sallie, (Sally) make a comeback. I think it fits with this set. Tansy has always been a favorite of mine. I'd like to see it get some more play--just not too much!

As an Iris (well, Iiris) I can recommend the name! I've only ever met a couple of people with the name, but everyone always knows how to say it and it's very international. I'm especially fond of the goddess meaning, and I just think it's quite pretty overall, but also versatile
We have tossed a few names around for our baby girl due in June. Evangeline was one of them. Right now, Pepper is at the top of our list. We have combined a middle name to encompass both of our families. My mother in law's maiden name is De la Cruz. My husband and sister both have the middle name Ray. My great grandmother's maiden name is Ray. So.. we have created Dellaray as a middle name. Pepper Dellaray.
I love Tabitha so much! I think Florence would go well on this list especially with the nicknames of Flossie or Ren. I also love Freida, Elva, Meredith, Pippa, Morwenna, Fern, and Edwina at the moment
I love these names and this slow living style. My favourite would be Winifred, Gwyneth (I love Gwen) and Iris, and I confess I felt a little mad when you said this name because it's been on my list and I fear it will get too popular!! I've obsessed with the name Inez lately (meaning pure and holy) and I think it'd fit perfectly on this list!! 🤍
Inez is amazing. One of the most witty, sassy and creative old ladies I ever met was named Inez. It's a name that is both beautiful and has some edge with the z. Great name.
When I was a teenager obsessed with names, I loved bold, trendy names and figured I would use those for my future kids. When it came time to naming actual children, I went back to simple names that are easy to say and easy to spell. I have a Theodore who we call Theo and Abigail who we call Abby. I told my friends that 14 year old me would be so disappointed 😅 A lot of these names were on our short list!
We are due with a third in June (first girl!) and will be naming her Winifred Jean. Winnie, Freddie, even Effie are all incredible nicknames but the long form has always been a favorite of mine.

@Meredith MacEachern Just warn your friend that her daughter introducing herself to others - "Hello, I'm Early" will cause a lot of problems. Friends called their daughter Mia, which is pretty. Later, I put Mia together with their surname "Gain." Can you imagine making a phone call and saying "Hello, it's Mia Gain"? They changed their minds. Far too many parents don't speak the name aloud.
I have a Hattie and she be doing the absolute most! There is nothing slow living about her. 😂😂 I love Iris. In Spanish we pronounce it ear-ies and i think it’s so cute pronounced that way!

I love Winsome but I can't get past the "you win some you lose some". I also LOVE Winslow but my husband also splits it into Win + slow which breaks my heart haha. It was in my top 2 for a girl when we were preparing to name our baby in 2022, but we had a boy instead who is named Everett Darwin. I'm already so excited to try for another baby and to go through the naming process again!

You had me at Winifred! It has been a love of mine for a little while now, Hattie reminds me of a sassy and sweet Southern belle! Iris is so very sweet and pretty and a great name for a little rainbow baby or for parents who came along their journey in a non traditional way( fertility assisted or adoption), Tess is so sweet and elegant and timeless. Evangeline is glorious and makes me think of Longfellow's serenade and the song Evangeline by Emmylou . Annie is sweet and sassy , and I am not just saying so, because it was my mother's name. This is one of my favorite lists for girls out of all of your lists.
Monet is pretty popular in the African American community (along with other French names). I have had a handful of students with that name over the past 15 years and always thought it was very pretty.

I love this list. I definitely found my theme - nature. I, completely unintentionally, ended up with an animal, a plant, weather and I don't know how to describe the last one. I guess a type of place on earth. If I had a 5th girl I'd probably go with something space/planet themed to follow the theme build haha!
I've waited so long to share my baby girls name on one of your videos! My little girl arrived 19/05/23 and is called Milou Wren - meaning drop of the ocean and wanted child which is perfect for us as our rainbow child!
I loved the name Tabitha when i was pregnant with my 8 month old daughter. But we also loved Beatrix. So we went with both. So she's Beatrix Tabbitha. We liked it with two B's.
I was pleasantly surprised to hear my name, Tabitha, in this video! I really do feel like it fits into this category. I am an outdoorsy girl. I've always loved my name. I've been told it means "gazelle" or "graceful" which I think is a nice meaning. It is also rare at least here in the U.S. I'm 23 and I've only met 4 other Tabithas throughout my life. I've also had a few friends of friends named Tabitha. On another note, I would push back a bit on the name Monet for two reasons. One is that the way you pronounce it, SJ, sounds similar to "money" to me. Another thing to perhaps consider is that here in the States we pronounce Monet as mow-nay. Not sure if that might bother people. I do really like the artist association though.
I have a Winnifred Darling. If I have another daughter my top choices are Guinevere (nickname Vera) or the name Gwyneth. 💜 I can picture them now, Winnie and Vera.
My daughters name is Winifred, we call her Winnie most of the time but I love that name. Its versitile and can grow with her! Most people in the US tell me they have never heard that name before, which may be dramatic but its not used very often!
I've always loved Winifred, I was super gutted when my partner vetoed it when I was pregnant with my first. 😭 We loved Ingrid too but it's an in-laws name who we're close but not **that** close with so it didn't feel quite right. We've come to rather enthusiastic agreement on Enid but now I'm terrified that the popularity of the Wednedsay show will put my partner off it in some way, or that something will happen in the show to put him off it. Keep your fingers crossed for me lol. Agnes has always been my favorite form of Anne, but I can definitely see Anne or Annie more readily having a resurgence (like you mentioned with Ingrid, I think that hard G sound can be very polarizing.) I adore Gwyneth! I do agree the association to Gwyneth Paltrow hurts the name a bit in terms of popularity but I think if enough parents overcome their reservations this name could shed that baggage fairly easily. Hattie/Harriet, Iris, Tess, Gilli/Gillian, Tabitha, Monet (such a fun alternative to Simone) aaaah what a lovely list. Can't wait for the boy list!

My brother just did a couple of these trends with their baby girl. Her name is Ozzy. That's kind of that gender neutral name and also a nickname for a first name. Her middle is Mae. Ozzy Mae. I'm a bit split because it sounds a little masculine 🤔
